Wow after last night I am definetly dreading this game and the possible scorelines. Then the ensuing Shitcago fans gloating.

....Then again if someone could kick this team in the ass maybe we could get a surprise win.....

What - is Bill Parcells going to stop by?

Its patently obvious by this point that from the top down, no one is doing any ass-kicking.

And that doesn't particularly look like a team out there right now.

Which IMHO is the reason this team is in the funk it finds itself in at the moment. No vocal leaders on the field, (other than Countess' emotions) to get these guys enflamed to play.

Sure cant expect "The Coach" to provide that sort of outburst can you????

    Dallas 2.

    Chicago 1.

No way Andrew Williams repeats his performance from Saturday. So Fire offense = 0.
The Fire will bunker and counter and get one.

Kreis and EJ for the Burn.

Ralph for the Fire. (watching him vs. Morrow is going to hurt. Here's hoping MJ makes an adjustment and tells Morrow to stick with that punk Razov).

OK, part of this made me laugh. I won't tell you which part, but it's the part immediately after "Kreis."

I think this will be our staring 11

    --------------------DJ------------------------
    SUAREZ----BONSEU----MORROW----GBANDI
    DAVIS------DEERING----PAREJA----CHIVAS
    -------------KREIS------CERRITOS---------

I would like to see Stone and Thomas/Salyer instead of Pareja and Morrow. Im not sure Pareja will be around at the end of the season at this pace, he is one of our best players and we really need to take care of him in case we make the playoffs.

Boy, this sure has the feel of an old-time 4-0 or 5-0 Chicagoland ass kicking doesn't it?

But on the positive side, surely we have to win at least one more game this season, right?

Come on you laws of probability!

Think Suarez or Thomas can keep up with Damani Ralph?

i see orlando perez listed as a starter and bench d.

does that mean chicago doesn't have a backup d player on the bench?

He is big and strong, good athlete with speed. Likes to put a body on guys.
Has some speed and is a solid passer, better passer than Bonseu anyway.
His game is very similar to Bonseu, except younger and less positionally sound.

Which is why he is the replacement for Bonseu and not Behncke. Essentially Behncke is Morrow's back up, and Shavar is T-Bone's.

    Late breaking News on Bonseu
    --------------------------------------------
According to Burn source in Chicago with the team, Tenywa Bonseu is back in the team for tonight's game.
Burn were unable to arrange a flight that could get him to Uganda in time.
So he is in Chicago and will be available.

He will also be here for Saturday's game versus Colorado.

Sounds like keystone cops kind of stuff. 3rd, why the problem with travel? Isn't an international call-up supposed to be done weeks in advance, or do the Burn do something less formal with their players?

Not that I'm complaining: I'm less morose now that Bonseau's back in the middle.

It's not the Burn's problem, it's the soccer association of who the player plays for. Sounds like Uganda doesn't have their shite together.

Too bad for Bonseau. He deserves the caps. I was also looking forward to getting a look at Thomas.
