    I'd go with

    --------Lewandowski
    Ribéry----------------Müller
    ----Thiago-Vidal-Kimmich
    Alaba-Hummels-Martínez-Lahm
    -------------Neuer

I thought Kimmich, Lewandowski, Martínez, and Hummels were on fire in the DFB Pokal match.

If Alonso comes back into the starting XI I will understand that Carlo wants to play it safe, nothing wrong with that for his first league match. But young Kimmich couldn't have done much more to earn a spot with 121 touches, 92% pass completion, 1 assist, and some beautiful chances created.

Müller could become the first player to score the first goal of a Bundesliga season 3 times if he scores the opening goal today, according to SportBild.

Wonder what happened to Hörwick on the Bayern Twitter? They are very slow getting the lineups out now. Hörwick would have had it out 10 minutes ago.

Anyways, Bremen XI: Wiedwald - Caldirola, Bauer, Yatabare, Fritz, Johannsson, Diagne, Bartels, Gebre Selassie, Sané, Grillitsch

i hope Alonso has a god-tier performance, because there is no reason to start him ahead of Kimmich at this point.

I'm not too concerned with Alonso - Thiago for this match but quite disappointed not seeing Kimmich start :)

Well if he can't start as long as we continue to put out an old man that's way past his prime in the starting XI.
