Wooten on the bench for Kaiserslautern in Aalen. They are going with the 1-3-2-4 but Foda is trying Fourtanous as the CM with Matmour on the right and Gaus on the left. There is not a lot of movement, but the formation seems to be working. Fourtanous is awful though so there will be a change at half. My guess is maybe Zoller on for Fourtanous and a switch to a 4-4-2 or maybe Wooten in and Matmour switches to the CM.

And the wheels come off the bus. After dominating the game, an own goal to put Aalen up 1-0 and then a straight red to Idrissou a minute later. Gaus picks up a yellow for arguing. Big changes at half.

If I had to guess I would say that Foda is going to bring in Occean for Fourtanous to add some veteran stability, but I could see Zoller coming in as well. There is no striker on the field for Kaiserslautern right now. With an own goal, straight red, and two yellows in the last couple minutes Kaiserslautern need to bring it pull it together early in the second half.

Karl, one of the defensive midfielders is subbed out for Zoller. He had one of the yellows, but Ring and Gaus are still on the field with them.

A defensive mistake makes it 2-0. After dominating the game the last 3 minutes of the first half and the first 3 minutes of the second have resulted in 2 goals, a straight red, and two yellows.

And another yellow, which was total bs as the two players had a light collision away from the ball. Should not have even been a foul.

Jenssen in for Fourtanous. Looks like Kaiserslautern are about to make their third sub as well.

The US has lots of wingbacks. Good to see Chandler back in the starting lineup.

Yep- he might be the most talented of them all. Hope he can stay healthy and have a productive season.

What's going on in the Hoffenheim game? Hoffenheim score a penalty and then that same minute the scorer is shown a red card!? Did he take off his shirt AND his pants?

There was a tussle in the net after the goal, but I didn't see what caused the card (and no announcer on this feed). Freiburg scored quickly and then Hoffenheim got a shorthanded goal. It's 2-2 in the 40th. Already a wild one...

So, at halftime Schalke is losing 2-0 with another dreadful performance. Bye bye Keller if it stays like that.

Nürnberg is holding the 0-0 against Bayern, just about. Chandler and Feulner have been overrun numerous times on their side and Chandler was a bit lucky not to have a handball called as penalty against him, but then their opponents are Ribery and Alaba...

This is awful by Schalke. Isn't Keller a relatively new coach?

Yeah doesn't get much better then Ribery and Alaba anywhere in the world...I'd say just to hold them to 0-0 is pretty good

He stepped in last season, had only coached youth teams before. There have been questions about his qualities for the top level right since he started.

I'm not watching the game and I don't follow the BL too closely but this seems harsh on Schalke. They're playing a man down, away, and against a decent side.

The reporter on German radio said he slapped somebody and the ref had no choice. Freiburg's has also been sent to the stands. Lots o' action.

Always depends on what you're ambitions are. In Schalke's case they want to be a top four, regular CL contender. Of course they'll get differently judged than, say, Augsburg.

Freiburg leading against Hoffenheim now, btw.

And another red card against Freiburg in the 90th. 9 vs. 10. 3-3 is the score.
