As requested: vs. Kick-off: Tuesday, September 23rd 2014, 20:00h CEST Location: Allianz Arena München (Minga Oida!) Referee: not yet known, but will be updated HERE I will furthermore not make a fool of myself, by trying to predict our line-up for the game. It's impossible with Guardiola and the ridiculous amount of injuries we're currently suffering from. Paderborn is currently leading the Bundesliga table for a reason, they are a highly organized, motivated and spirited team, that will probably copy Hamburg's game-plan by the letter. However our defence has been solid so far this season, which is why a expect us to win the game with 3-1. Still, they are a very bothersome opponent and we have to avoid a cold start like against Hamburg or the game could become a very tedious affair. Let's do this!
I'd like Muller to get rested this game, and the three subs from last game to start. Shaq to replace Muller based on his last game, even though weirdly enough he was subbed out. Lahm also looks a bit gassed IMO and should get a break this match. If we need him for more steel in midfield, we can put him at half time/60th minute. Good news is that Paderborn should be fatigued since they have to play 3 days later, while we are more used to it and we can rotate players. What's the update on Robben, can he play 30 minutes as a super sub? more of a 4-3-3 in reality but here goes ----------------Lewandowski---------------- -Shaqiri---------Guadino----------Goetze- -------------Alaba-------Alonso------------- Bernat-------------------------------Rafinha ------------Boateng---Benatia-------------- -------------------Neuer---------------------- out: Pizza, Muller, Hojberg, Lahm, Dante in: Lewy, Guadino, Goetze, Alonso, Benatia in 60'-70': Robben (hopefully)
Newly promoted teams tend to do well in the first half of the season.. I expect this to be tougher then the Hamburg game. This is sounding like a broken record but....... WE NEED OUR OFFENSE TO STEP UP.,.,, Oh and were going to ********ing lose 2-1!
Honigstein's piece about Paderborn is quite interesting: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/sep/22/sc-paderborn-bundesliga?CMP=twt_gu
Excellent chance to put some space at the top of the table. Next 2 games against the 2 newly promoted clubs, Paderborn and Koln. Yes, they're in form clubs at the moment, and Koln has been in the league much of the last 5-10 years. But these are realistically games Bayern ought to take all the points from. Hopefully by Sunday we will have opened up a gap. Dortmund plays Schalke on the weekend, but Leverkusen also have two winnable matches against Stuttgart and Augsburg. We will see. First things first, spoiling Paderborn's start to the season. Time to separate the men from the boys.
Hamburg is a pretty respectable club, that has often been sound defensively, and has a bit of a rivalry with Bayern. They haven't scored this season, which is why they are where they are. But, they've only conceded 5 goals in 4 matches... which only 7 of the 18 clubs in the Bundesliga have done better at keeping the ball out of the net in that time. We got numerous chances and just couldn't punch it in, and they were dogged in their defense, and played worthy of the point they received. If I were a betting man, I'd venture that HSV finishes ahead of both Koln and Paderborg at the end of the season. If I were a betting man, I'd also venture money on 6 points from these two matches.
I hope Neuer doesn't roam from his box like he did in the HSV match or we'll get punished by Stoppelkamp. Robben will be on the bench so there's hope on that front. Otherwise, I'm not too confident except for the Oktoberfest "geist/dusel" going for us.
Paderborn are the only team in many years who have started 11 Germans in their starting lineup. Huge Respect rather than spending the money on cheap African/Eastern European. Bundesliga are getting more n more competitive, its a shock to see teams are after such an approach. Impressive
I'm playing in the Kreisklasse Würzburg, maybe you should catch one of our games once in a while, because we have tons of German players! But wait, we've got a Turkish plumber, two late repatriates from the East and an Armenian car dealer in our team... I understand that you like seeing German players, but you're going way too far with your fixation on being German. It seems like an obsession.
No Robben no party. No Ribery no party. No PIGGY no party. No Badi no party. No Thiago no party. No Javi no party.
U got reson my friend, so Oktoberfest = party!!!!!!!!! I'd wish to drink 2 barrels of HB or Paulaner or Franziskaner tonight!!!!!!! Lets have a party, this is for u and all my Bayern friends here, so lets go the feast ist da!!!!!!!!!
No, it's in two hours and fourty-two minutes. Line-up according to Kicker: FC Bayern München: Neuer - Benatia, J. Boateng, Alaba - Rafinha, Lahm, Xabi Alonso, Juan Bernat - Robben, M. Götze - Lewandowski
Ciao Paolo , piacere di vederti qui di nuovo . Godetevi la partita !! (hope the English to Italian worked well)
