I agree with Alex_K, it would be nice to have Duesseldorf back in(even if their only use would be that maybe Die Toten Hosen would write some more football songs then ), St. Pauli i'd like to. If i had to make a list of non-BL teams i'd like to see in the BL, it would be: - Energie Cottbus - 1860 Muenchen - Dynamo Dresden - St. Pauli - Fortuna Dusseldorf - Union Berlin - Karlsruhe( i want a derby, plus, they'd go back down after one year anyway )
My list: * Dynamo Dresden * St. Pauli * Union Berlin * Fortuna Düsseödorf * Waldhof Mannheim * Alemannia Aachen * Eintracht Braunschweig ->
I don't have such list, and I don't think those are to wise, because we do have a lot of teams with tradition in the BL. There are a few teams that are too far down though imho, of the top of my head I'd say Lok, Fortuna D. and St. Pauli. Another point I want to make is that Leverkusen is on it's own (and has been so for a few years now) because Bayer doesn't support them so hard anymore.
Bayer owns the ********ing thing, I would hardly call this "on their own". And I would bet they still get more than just a few cents from Bayer.
Well, afaik Bayern owns it as much as the police owns any Polizeisportverein... I am no expert on that though and didn't find any proof on the Inet. But VW does not 'own' VFL Wolfsburg neither. They controll it indirectly, but they don't own it.
No, they own it. "Own it" as in "they are the owner" . The professional football sections of both Bayer Leverkusen and VfL Wolfsburg are companies of which Bayer and VW are the major shareholders. Nothing about indirect controll here.
