Reus has sealed his place as the black sheep in one of the most successful generations of German footballers, who won league titles, a World Cup, a variety of CL titles with diverse clubs and the last ever Confederations Cup. All Reus has to show on the other hand are a measly two DFB-Pokals. The Eternal Pretender indeed. I'm probably the only BVB fan who doesn't feel the least bit sad over his departure, and friend of mine thinks trophies will now start to rain in Dortmund now that he's gone.
Dortmund need a charismatic manager like Klopp or even Mourinho to change their fortune, to elevate their status as a genuine title contender again.
Wow quite the bombshell news to wake up to, Terzic and Dortmund go their separate ways Meanwhile in typical Bayern fashion, they're about to sign Hiroki Ito from Stuttgart
Willkommen in München, Hiroki #Ito! 👋🔴⚪#ServusHiroki #MiaSanMia pic.twitter.com/WvHhsHaLqW— FC Bayern München (@FCBayern) June 13, 2024
Bayern have a poor defense and they do not have a German center back which historically they had most of the times…it is logical to try and sign Tah who is great form and peak of his career
Sure but this is why we can't have nice things. Even if Leverkusen want to keep their best talents and build a side that wins things over many seasons, they won't be able to because their manager and best players will be stripped out and they lack the finances to stop it.
But that’s not entirely a Bayern thing…I see Dortmund is planning to sign Guirassy from Stuttgart….they are also planning to sign Anton as Hummels replacement? Leverkusen wants Fuhrich…how about these?
Sure - or Madrid take Bellingham But the point is we won't see a genuinely competitive league because only Bayern is resistant to this
Anton also strongly linked with Leverkusen, if Tah moves on. I think Leverkusen are in a better position to absorb a couple of losses, especially given Wirtz is staying for next season, but I worry slightly for Stuttgart as they seem to be being somewhat decimated, if Ito, Anton, Fuhrich and Guirassy all leave. At least on the positive side they have made a couple of clever looking additions, Chabot is a solid signing as is Keitel who I liked at Freiburg. Woltemade is still young but impressed for Bremen in his debut 1BL season and Diehl from Koln is an exciting AM/W prospect, So I guess although not ideal to have that level in turnover they are at least reinvesting in talented German players. Hopefully they can keep Undav too.
Bayern won't be looking to loan out flop goalkeeper Daniel Peretz this summer https://www.ligainsider.de/daniel-p...-daniel-peretz-diesen-sommer-nicht-ab-358840/
Bayern's summer spending spree in full force as they agree on personal terms with Xavi Simons https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a2153313376141846688-bayern-mit-xavi-einig-die-zahlen-zum-deal
Wolfsburg about to spend 20 mil on this shrimp of a striker https://www.fussballtransfers.com/a...-wolfsburg-schnappt-sich-neuen-mittelstuermer
I dont think we are resistant to it. Bayern is just basically picking the best out of the rest, if we didnt do it then other top clubs will. Tah was obviously open to a move to a top club, otherwise he would have decided to stay for another season like Alonso and Wirtz. At least we are being civil and only taking the one player this time.......not raiding them like we did in the early 2000s when we took Ballack Ze Roberto and Lucio after they made the CL final. We decimated their team back then hence Völler absolute refusal to sell any players to Bayern as long as he was around.
LOL what happened I thought foreign youth CFs are better than the Germans. 🚨Excl. | DONE DEAL: Dion #Beljo will join Rapid Wien on a one-year-loan ✔️▫️@skrapid have als secured an option to buy for the 22 y/o striker from Augsburg. In the range of €7-9m▫️Rapid will also pay a very low loan fee. It‘s all done between the clubs now. Many clubs… pic.twitter.com/QfnNcsfwlk— Florian Plettenberg (@Plettigoal) July 7, 2024 the list of FLOP foreign youth CFs in Germany is HUGE. These clubs should integrate domestic talents.

Mainz loses against Anwar El Ghazi in labour court after he was terminated without notice last season for his pro-Palestine posts on Instagram. He is entitled to around 1.7 mil euros in outstanding salary and bonuses. Huge L for this club https://www.transfermarkt.de/mainz-...mer-kassiert-millionen-summe/view/news/440597
yeah I like Mainz but that was garbage to max on their part. reality a SHIT TON of players got into trouble by clubs and threatened with axing if they keep posting pro-Palestine posts. Some retracted otherwise would have been axed. such a cringe country that forces pro-Israel (nevermind all the atrocities being committed) on you or your in deep shit. like every club tried to make it like if your Pro-Palestine=Pro Hamas=Pro questioning Israel's right to exist (don't see why that is a big deal, since the country was founded thanks to Pengland's colonism). So they ALL send out statements defending Israel etc. More like they allow their WWII guilt to overide everything. Bayern too is cringe as well because they had Mazroaui being Pro-Palestine hurt the feelings of their mediocre Israeli GK, so he had to apologize, LOL.
While people should be free to say what they want posting "from river to the sea" was an incredibly dumb move especially for someone from his background who knows exactly what those words mean.
LOL, Netanyahu and other Israel officials have all stated during the war the same statements themselves and got like 0 condemnation. so yeah its hypocrisy anyways.
Dortmund is apparently trying hard tto get rid of Moukoko's salary. They dropped their transfer fee demands to 20M but I doubt Hamburg can pay that much. https://www.mopo.de/sport/fussball/...=social&utm_source=Twitter&Echobox=1721543840 I guess the doubters were in the end proven right. There must have been a lot of info about him behind the scenes considering even Honigstein made jokes about his age on multiple occasions.
