Still Dortmund is on the 12 place looking att revenue of european clubs, in parity with clubs like Juventus. Think the retoric sometimes is to much being a victim of Bayerns dominance. But might be wrong.

 

honestly European footy is so much better now that Argentinian Draxler aka discount version, Diving Brazilian and Penaldo/Tapinaldo aren't there anymore.

Mainz on track for comeback win and closing in on overtaking Bochum and into safe zone.

they look much better since return of Burkardt from long term injury.

I've watched a lot of Mainz this season and potential wise they aren't bottom team. Finishing is what's has been their #1 issue.

 

Mainz don't look like a relegation team, as has been said finishing + injuries have been problem. Plus as a club that gives chances to youth and has some highly promising players would be good to see them stay up.

Just one win neeed for Leverkusen to finally shed the Vizekusen/Neverkusen tag.

 

I hope if they win today, the players don't over celebrate and forget the London trip to WestHam

It will suck to lose their unbeaten run to a midtable EPL team or worse crash out

 

Feels like Mainz have the ingredients to do really well if they can build on the core they have. If they can hold on to likes of Van Den Berg, Barreiro, Amiri, Gruda, Burkardt and add a few defenders and scorers they could be the surprise team next year IMO.

Leverkusen 1-0 up from Boniface pen, been fairly solid so far. I like a couple of Hofmann's quick diagonal switches, they are opening up the game down the wings.

Werder have occasionally threatened, I like the Ducksch/Woltemade combo.

 

Werder also playing with a C team. Many injuries and 3 suspended with 5 yellow cards. I was expecting them to get slaughtered but still time for that.

Yeah doesn't help. Also the reported pre-match fall out from flop Keita after Werner told him he was on the bench again leading to him refusing to travel would hardly have helped the mood.

 

Leverkusen are a real side with alot of quality. Could go unbeaten throughout the season.

congrats to Tah, Andrich, Hofmann, and Wirtz on winning 1BL. Lets hope they bag the DFB Cup and make it a double. If they make it a triple with EL even better but that's gonna be tough.
