Stuttgart beat Dortmund 2-0 to advance. I hope Stuttgart win the DFB Cup this season. 1-I'm not happy at how club is still bad at integrating Academy. 2-but unlike previous season, they are playing a LOT of Germans. XI=Nubel, Vagnoman, Anton, Mittelstadt, Stiller, Karazor, Fuhrich, Undav that's EIGHT our of 11, WOW. and with Bredlow, Menzel, Leweling, more on bench. what would make me like Stuttgart more is if they would start integrating their promising next gen players and they have A LOT OF THEM too.
Honestly QFs is the farthest I see Dortmund going in the CL. I sincerely hope they barely secure their spot in the EL by the end of the season. Maybe that will finally push Watzke into stepping down.
Terzic seems to take a pretty negative approach in away matches v some of the better teams, basically tried parking the bus again last night and it didn't work. After an impressive ruckrunde last season I am surprised by the approach taken both on transfers and tactics. Finishing top 4 looks like the best Dortmund can hope for. As for Stuttgart it is definitely good to see them doing so well with a lot of Germans in their team, would be nice to see them lift the trophy.
but I thought Kim and Upa are world class, LOL. Bayern Munich with some of the world’s worst defending today. Atrocious. #SGEFCB— Ronan Murphy (@swearimnotpaul) December 9, 2023
Because he looks flashy with his skills/dribbling but I agree ultimately he lacks end product far more often then not. Scoring the winner in the CL final has seemingly made him untouchable.
Schalke win back to back and now have escaped relegation zone, its good to see!!! hopefully them and Hertha return in future to 1BL.
yeah I don't give a shit about rivalries from a club footy POV. Only rivalries I care about is from NT perspective. and even then as a Dortmund fan you must miss the Revierderby? No. Schalke is a historic German clubs like Hertha and HSV, none of these 3 should be in 2BL but years and years of missmangement is what lead us here.
Maybe it's because I wasn't born and raised in Dortmund, but I'm perhaps one of the very few Dortmund fans who has no real animosity towards Schalke.
a rivalry where your rival is in gutter is pointless. What exactly does one get from Schalke in 2BL??Okay you get to laugh but not much else, from a sporting POV it does nothing. why I want Italy and Netherlands to get to their best.
I keep watching Mainz play and quality wise they shouldn't be so low in table. Just missing that finishing and they do create good chances.
Bayer and Stuttgart will eliminate one next match. Will Saarbrucken eliminate 3 back to back 1BL??? 1733920241053315496 is not a valid tweet id
5 non 1BL clubs. Imagine Saarbrucken win, would guarantee that 3/4 of the SF are 2BL or lower lol. Basically the winner of Leverkusen v Stuttgart are huge favourites to win the cup.
Why not? Wigan Athletic got relegated from the Premier League but qualified to the EL thanks to their FA Cup win. Anyway, I'm fully backing Stuttgart over Leverkusen.
In the coming weeks, one topic will gain momentum: how the bosses can restructure the squad on a grand scale. The first names are already on the list. One of them is Serhou Guirassy. 🗞 @SPORTBILD #BVB pic.twitter.com/FrTbJNzbuk— BVB Newsblog (@bvbnewsblog) December 12, 2023 What's the plan with Moukoko and Brunner?
