Bundesliga 2025/26 - Is there a league after Lohmann?

Uefa has raised the minimum qualifications needed to coach women's teams playing in UEFA comps. from June 2028:
- Head coach will need the Pro licence (up from A licence).
- Assistant coach, A licence (up from B).
Transitional period now gives them 2 years.

But I'm confused... UEFA are introducing these rules, while FIFA are also set to create more rules that attempt to force women's football to be lead by majority female coaches...?

LOL... for someone like Kromp, this basically makes her a unicorn among unicorns.... Germany's top 3 clubs are all coached by men, am I crazy to think 2 of these could be about to lose their jobs soon (the next 1 to 2 years)...

And does this also explain Eta being Union Berlins new over qualified coach...? Did they know about the coming rules, with a long term plan for European qualification..?

All this club does is continue losing potential talent, which means Peter has ALOT of work ahead of her trying to salvage this club... wow...

When healthy, Emily Wallrabenstein was a junior wnt captain, who looked like she'd be almost sure to become a senior wnt CB one day... wow.

Leverkusen already recruiting Sternad, would be very smart to take a chance on the potential of someone like a athletic 22yo Elmazi...

I also see Werder Bremen's future appearing very uncertain right now too... which should honestly see a coach like Kromp consider opportunities elsewhere... Wolfsburg...

Wrede was named HSV's player of the season. Yet the club and player have showcased no signs of them remaining together for the foreseeable future, even though Wrede an elite talent who's got bo transfer fee to prevent her joining any club of her choice.

If they want squad players from Essen, they need to get Elmazi next. Her career goals and assists don't reflect this right now, but Elmazi has the potential to be an all round better forward than Sternad...

The latest young talent to join Leverkusen, Wallrabenstein is a CB many viewed as a potential senior wnt player one day.

Leverkusen are building for the future, but still probably remain two serious signings away from being a realistic contender for 3rd place.

Leverkusen already possessing a better defensive record than Frankfurt, and Wolfsburg, they'll need to find at least 25/30 more goals before truly being considered a top 3 threat.

 

Bild reports that Jella Veit will not extend her contract in Frankfurt and is leaving the club. The new club is reportedly Union Berlin...

Got to add a rather weakish midfield if(hopefully) Brand goes back to bring an winger. I mean the Grawe-Senss duo didn’t prove to be that strong in Frankfurt’s rather bumpy ride this season, though can’t blame Wuck for not making massive changes with just two games left in WC qualifiers.

Ii was wondering about Bundesliga’s 50+ ownership rule; does this mean no desperately needed billionaires have any stakes in clubs? What happens to supposedly Hoffenheim’s billionaire owner?

 

If Bayern allow Arsenal to casually swoop in and get Baum, the club really needs to reasses how serious they are about wanting to compete in the UWCL...

Bayern set to face zero competition domestically for at least another 3 years, meaning they have a clear path to take full advantage of having first access to the best talent within their own league.

Talent like Wrede, Baum, Senß, still within the Bundesliga, and fully capable of significantly improving the overall effectiveness of key areas within Bayern's 1st team.

Whatever happens to an older player like Senß, Bayern can not allow younger talent like Baum, or Wrede, to join UWCL rivals.

 

And now the random imagination land created women's club in London has entered the race for Baum...

Any transfer for Baum requiring a significant amount of money being paid, it adds a level of uncertainty around where she could be playing football next.

But damn... seeing the various more established foriegn teenagers who've seen their careers damaged with poorly advised transfers to strong WSL clubs, should produce some loud alarm bells for Baum...

 

Bunny Shaw just signed the biggest pro contract in woso history when she signed again with Man City(worth a reported $6.7 mill over 4 years). I wonder if Lohmann will have to take a pay cut?

 

Bender playing as a right winger, had a better overall season than Baum. Bender also starts ahead of Baum when it comes to the u23's, and has been one of Germany's top youth prospects since she was 16.

The only reason all these clubs are chasing Baum, not Bendet right now, is the fact they know Leipzig will sell, and they all see other big clubs want her.

After one full season in 1.Bundesliga, were supposed to believe Barcelona, Lyon, Arsenal, London City, Man United... and Bayern, all want Baum...; lol, beyond Bayern's persuit, this is all a career trap.

 

Must be £6.7 million instead of $6.7 million otherwise Macario's $8 million over 5 years is largest. Rodman's $6 million for 3 years would be most per year.
