Essen scoring in the last minute of ET, showing a level of fight that should probably concern HSV...:cautious:

Leverkusen taking 20+ shots, dominating the flow of play, only to end up losing to Hoffenheim 0-1. It places Frankfurt in position to reclaim a top 3 place on Monday.

And big surprise... Bayern comprehensively beat Wolfsburg...

LOL... looking at online reactions, people clearly haven't been paying attention to Wolsfburg this season... or even Wolfsburg over the past 4 years..

If everyone healthy, Wolfsburg right now basically a strong defensive talent, with a random collection of individuals ahead of them.

Yet I see opinions online seemingly surprised at how bad Wolfsburg looked as a team Vs Bayern...o_O, as if they didn't just restart the season struggling to beat Köln, drawing with Essen, looking awful Vs Juve twice.

So as I continue to say... I just hope Bayern can truly remove the garbage Straus-ball era stench, and get back to being a contender in the UWCL.

Bayern being a minimum final 4 UWCL quality side genuinely important, as like Wolfsburg, Frankfurt, and Potsdam in the past, a top 4 UWCL Bayern becoming the example rival domestic clubs can try to compare themselves.

    Some random points...

Tanikawa playing as a #6 is a genuine crime lol. Everything at Bayern adjusting around Harder continuing to feel ridiculous...

Should Leverkusen retain their talents, they are 2 or 3 international quality players, and potentially 2 years away from being able to compete in Europe.

If Lerch stays on as head coach... a few Wolfsburg players should honestly consider taking free transfers to new teams...:whistling:

Baum is finally developing consistent end product/better decision making. And should she further develop her cut inside to shoot... we could be talking about her as a serious goal scoring winger.

Brand would also demonstrate better decision making, and genuine end product for Lyon in their recent win; but as usual, they question is can she do this consistently...

Mühlhaus has senior wnt AM all over her game, but continues to find way too many shots, to only have produced 2 goals from open play this season.

For reasons still unclear, the big rival match between HSV and Werder Bremen lacked the attendance/attention we've seen in the past.

I feel like the race for top 3, is far more interesting than it's ever been in this league... even the relegation battle currently featuring multiple clubs who can actually demonstrate good football, and score goals too.

For a second time, does Kellermann's decision to leave mean goodbye once again for Lerch..?

This should also confirm Popp is leaving for BVB at the end of the season too...:whistling:

    Foreign Watch....

Sydney Lohman was finally allowed some match time for Man City in their comfortable Cup win Vs lower league opposition...:speechless:

Lohmann replacing a 22yo English youth prospect after 63' mins; it means she's probably in an even worse position than she was at Bayern...:(

Lohmann going from a key element within a former UWCL semi finalist quality Bayern, to almost helping the wnt win a Euro finals, but is now considered barely competent enough to enter cups games as a substitute Vs English lower league opponents, wow.

Anyway... better news for Nüsken would have her once again starting in a CM role for Chelsea, this time playing 90 mins in her teams 2-1 ET win Vs Man Utd.

Chelsea's also coach talking about her clubs intentions to spend a lot of money this summer, it's another sign Nüsken, and Alber, won't be contracted this club beyond this season.

Schüller straight back to being a substitute, she'd only enter the game during extra time, where she'd at least get a shot on goal (small progress lol)

Martinez started on the bench for her teams 1-2 cup defeat to Brighton. Coming on as a 46' min sub, knowing her team only 2 points above relegation, I imagine Martinez was being rested for more important tests..:cautious:

At Lyon, Brand replaced Diani at HT, where she featured in a wing back role creating various clear chances in a game she'd also score a goal in her teams 2-6 league win Vs Marseille.

The only reason she would even consider this, is if she felt the wnt coaches continued pro WSL bias would help her make the senior wnt...:cautious:

Kellermann is now confirmed to be leaving Wolfsburg at the end of the season. And after 18 years of success with the club, this alongside the coming announcement of Popp's future, will surely signal a new era for Wolfsburg.

So... Lerch being Kellermann's choice, surely means he needs to be replaced. In my opinion, if they can convince Kromp or Carlson to leave their own projects, these two coaches the most obvious names I'd select from to help start another rebuilding proccess at Wolfsburg.

DF: Levels --- Küver --- Kleinherne --- Linder
All young and talented enough to establish themselves as a UWCL level back 4. Dijkstra, and Minge, potentially part of this too.

CM: Kielland --- Peddamors --- Lattwein
This trio is the best Wolfsburg can select, yet have barely seen this trio feature as a unit, highlighting how Wolfsburg need to really focus on upgrading this element of their team.

Minge with new leadership at the club, will only be part of this if she can make significant improvements to her game...:cautious:

    AT: Bussy/Zicai --- FW --- Endemann.
With Popp, and Beerensteyn leaving... Wolfsburg's future attack looks incredibly weak.

After years of regression, you can see ALOT of work will need to happen for Wolfsburg to have any realistic hope of challenging for domestic titles.

She's not a real winger, but over the last 5 games Wrede's been able to contribute even more effectively for her team from a wide left position...:speechless:

Surrounded by better players, deployed in a CM role... I genuinely believe she'd be averaging significantly better numbers than what she's doing right now...:coffee:

I just hope Wrede not trapped in a wide role for her club beyond this season, or thought to only be a winger by wnt coaches.

Chelsea announce the appointment of someone called Phil Radley as their new women’s team Sporting Director.

So false alarm on Rech leaving Bayern, with Kellermann being her replacement.

It's confirmed... Wolfsburg are no longer a serious contender to Bayern, and no longer a gaurenteed 2nd place UWCL level team.

Hoffmann joining a Wolfsburg in decline, will only speed up their process of eventually sliding outside the leagues top 2.

And if anyone can't understand why I believe this... I say just wait until we begin to see all the coming departures from this club lol...:whistling:

Bühl was looking set to break Hansen's single season 1.Bundesliga goal contributions record...

Fantastic club form and playing on a wnt that's looking to build something special again, I'm sure Bühl will receive her individual recognition eventually.

But damn... I guess this is goodbye Ballon d'Or nomination year...:(

Ughhhh, the WSL vultures are stiring... and a lot of wnt talent are currently playing with unresolved contract situations.

Bühl extending with Bayern for another year, and her rumoured destination last season (Barca) looking incredibly cheap right now, maybe she'll remain part of the domestic champions plans for a little longer...?

But more attacking talent like Cerci, Anyomi, Endemann, are all about to be free agents in a few months, with Alber's future having nothing to do with Chelsea too. I Expect to see alot of WSL interest around these names.

Senß (free transer), and Nüsken, have been identified as potential targets for Bayern, with Bayern supposedly prefering Nüsken as long as she doesn't come with a significant transfer fee paid to Chelsea.

After interest from Wolfsburg last season, Mühlhaus didn't instantly extended her contract. Wrede about to be THE major free agent talent. Alara, and Lohmann, both needing to make serious career choices if they hope to be part of the next WC squad.

Interest supposedly gathering around Wamser, with UWCL level foriegn clubs already making inquiries into a soon to be free agent Küver's intentions beyond this season.

I'm convinced Wolfsburg have already made a bad decision recruiting Hoffmann when superior strikers such as Cerci, and Anyomi, were known to be available...

But if Wrede THE talent everyone will want, Senß looking to be entering her peak years, I see Endemann the player with the potential to take the biggest step forward in individual development.

Seriously... this new break away league can't be confirmed soon enough lol. 80% of the wnt could be playing outside of the domestic league next season...:cautious:
