Reading Arnautis' opinions on his teams early exit from the UWCL, I think Frankfurt need to find a new coach, ask him to take on some help in the form of new assistants; because damn... it's sounds like he really doesn't understand why his team's style of play is so ineffective Vs European competition...:speechless:

Freigang, Anyomi, Prasnikar, are all CAM's pretending to be strikers. With none of them being particularly effective within the transition focused football that continues to dominate and shape success within UWCL competition.

And yes, it didn't help him not having Gräwe in the mid-field, as she typically provides their mid-field the ability to control tempo, while maintaining possession deeper within the opponents half of the field.

But for 3 years now we've all seen how poor Frankfurt's attack continues to be within this diamond system. And without his FB's being able to provide width, it's been incredibly simple for various opponents to stop Frankfurt's forwards from getting enough good chances on goal.

Frankfurt genuinely a better team than Wolfsburg when you look at their defensive shape, with Frankfurt even better than Bayern when it comes to elements of their mid-field play too. But possessing attacking talent, there's no excuse for their attack remaining so...

Blomqvist was just substituted into Wolfsburg's cup match...o_O

Last time I saw an update on Blomqvist, she was still taking part in individual training alongside Sellner. So... even if defenders, and defending still the biggest issue with this team, I now can't help but speculate on what this means for the potential return of Sellner...:cautious:

Sellner seen in the same individual training sessions as Blomqvist. Could we see Sellner make a return to first team football soon...? Resulting in a major upgrade to this teams attack..?

I thought Papp looked good in the pre season footage I saw, so I'm not sure what's happened to her since...

And I'm going to say this now... if this team has any hope of UWCL qualification, they need a real mid-field, which means it can't have Huth starting as a CAM anymore....:cautious:

Oh, and I think it's also fair to say Wilms has finally found her level lol...

Lohmann & Dallmann together but no Buhl & Schuller, & Gwinn, has the coach gone insane?

why did Bayern allow the Scandinavians to take over the team in the first place?

That's a cup match against a team from 2.Bundesliga. If you don't rest players here:cautious: - when will you?

Any update on the injury to Stolze. She seemed to take an very nasty spill early on in her debut for her Koln club vs Leipzig—like lie an possible ACL

If I remember, Stolze was a top youth prodigy, maybe top scorer in an Euro u17 tourney, only to get lost in the shuffle of WOB’s usual over stacked squad. Went on to play in the Dutch league for 4-5 years. So sad to see her get hurt like that so quickly upon her return to the Bundesliga

ACF Fiorentina Vs Vfl Wolfsburg.... is this good....:cautious:

Wolfsburg are HORRIBLE right now, but could they find enough remnants of their past selves, to potentially beat Fiorentina...

Blomqvist returning is great.. but this team still has some major issues tactical concerns defensively, and clear deficiencies attached to various members of their starting 11 too.

Larissa Mühlhaus just scored twice during Weder Bremen's cup match.... and after scoring 20 goals in 2.Bundesliga last season (same as Fudalla), I'll ask you... how many goals do you think she can genuinely score in the 1.Bundesliga this season...?

Me typically being more cautious with the idea 2.Bundesliga forwards instantly finding success in the nations top division. Maybe your correct here, with Mühlhaus potentially becoming the second consecutive 2.Bundesliga top scorer to find genuine success in the top division...:cautious:
