Bayern's best new signing is out injured: not a great deal for this season. When is she supposed to come back?
Bremen was missing Weidauer Wieder Beck versus Wolfsburg. Were they on the injured list? obviously an semi pro teams, but Freiburg along with Koln might of lost most major players than any other squad. Just surprised that Bouzine, Steinert & Wenzing are moving to Div 2–along with Rockow of Leipzig) and on the good looks department, Werner of Leipzig might just give Brand, Cerci & Gwinn a run for their money, just kind wishes she had more of an female sounding name! lol
Mit dieser 1⃣1⃣ wollen wir heute Sporting bezwingen ❤️🔥#SGE #EintrachtFrauen #UWCL #SGESCP pic.twitter.com/NCckG30qBU— Eintracht Frankfurt Frauen (@EintrachtFrauen) September 4, 2024
don't panic Chiba will bail Frankfurt out in 2nd half ...on the other hand Rosenborg already eliminated Atletico Madrid so as the upsets go ... Frankfurt's next in line
I changed it immediately... right after I read it out loud besides is it castlle (borg) or (gard) neighborhood.. its all hygge anyways
uh I dont get Eintracht coach, he subs in fresh striker Chiba for last 15 mins... but what's the point of it when all the rest of his players are so tired that can not even get the ball to her... why no subs earlier? (besides one defender switch). Sporting has made 5 changes in 2nd half providing fresh legs to chase any danger.
The same useless attack that lacks any credible ability to effectively function within quicker transition focused style of football. Using the same stupid diamond system that forces 95% of his teams width to come from FB's. Missing the only player in his mid-field, that allows the team to control enough match tempo in the final 3rd, to see forwards receive passes inside the oppositions box. Yeah.... I'm not surprised Frankfurt failed in qualifying for the UWCL once again, I'm just frustrated we've seen this happen with Arnautis twice now, with him apparently learning absolutely NOTHING from previous years of trail and error... And now next up is a nose diving Wolfsburg..., before we have to watch more fraudulent Straus-ball leading to Bayern's eventually early exit from the UWCL too.
Other nations have got so good, we'll see the standard final 4 we always see, and get a champion we all expect... The "good old times" of Wolfsburg being competitive in Europe, shouldn't end with them, but I've seen nobody holding Bayern to the same standards of previous Bundesliga clubs who'd dominate domestically, and still be highly competitive in the Champions League. Wolfsburg also comprising of a lot the wnt making this worse; even if the nations biggest clubs finally manage to break away from the DFB to form a new league competition, the lasting damage we could see coming from this current slump will likely persist into whatever comes next...
Wow, this is like celebrating the worlds tallest dwarf... LOL... Germany's top clubs being bad, doesn't make this league better or more balanced. It just means the general quality of football is lower. Personally I'm not expecting this doesn't effect wnt, as new improved coaches should finally lead to the construction of a better overall team, and a better overall squad. But lets be VERY REAL here... the idea what we witnessed between Wolfsburg Vs Bremen was indicative of improved general quality of this league, is simply disingenuous lol. With me finding it increasingly hard to believe anyone will enjoy seeing an underwhelming Bayern side winning this league by 10+ points, as multiple mediocre teams all showcasing mediocre football, battle for 2nd and 3rd place.
Freiburg protest against the defeat against Leverkusen. Referee had let the Kögel penalty retaken because the goalkeeper had left the goal line early despite the shot went over the bar.
You really believe this is something the league should be proud of, or something followers and fans should root for lol...?
"Ich ärgere mich sehr, weil es ein Spiel ist, das wir nicht verlieren sollten. CL-Fußball ist Erwachsenen-Fußball, da gewinnt man nicht mit schön spielen oder den Ball ins Tor tragen. In dem Sinne hat Sporting verdient gewonnen, weil sie es durchgedrückt haben und wir nicht." pic.twitter.com/LhVVGEhWeY— Fußball der Frauen 90min.de (@FF_90min) September 5, 2024 Said it before, and I'll say it again... Freigang continues to be horribly OVERRATED! And good striker within a team who can dominate possession, allowing her to receive the ball closer to the opponents goal. She's still awful in transition, lacking any ability to generate chances for others, and seems to have no clutch factor in actually helping her team when in matters most. Leaving me to think if Frankfurt want to move forward with her remaining a core element to what they do, this club will need to completely change the focus on the way they attack, in the process finding a new role for their captain...
