Excuse me... Minge #1... PLEASE.... Please prove me completely wrong for the wnt lol. I genuinely hope this is assessment of her season for Wolfsburg 100% correct, and Minge proves herself an elite CB, because everything I saw this season.. no, I can't agree with any assessment of her being the Bundesliga's #1 CB...
blast from the past; Lena Petermann moving to Bremen from Leicester City seems like Bayern going all foreign mercs though, signing Canadian Gilles, formerly of Lyon & another Great Dane named Balsingrr, both are CB’s
Hmmmm.... all the data on defending I'm looking at this season, has Lena Ostermeier, and Beke Sterner, among the top 2 FB's in this in this league... Gwinn the most established name on this list, also having a worse season offensively, and defensively than all 4 names beneath her lol...
Momoko Tanikawa scoring against Rosengard Rosengard - Bayern 0:1 Tanikawa 0:2 Damnjanovic 0:3 Harder 0:4 Zigiotti Bayern in semifinal
to be honest, I wish she could of traded places with Jonsdottir and come instead to the glitz & glamour of Angel City(owned by Hollywood movie stars) but Lyon ain’t too shabby!—-winningest club in Champions League history(and going more place than Bayern))
1925494389947707460 is not a valid tweet id Wamser joins Bayer Leverkusen.... Sooooo.... I'm guessing she still believes her best future remains in her being a forward/winger role, even if her qualities have seemingly transferred over to being a far more effective player at club and wnt levels within a RB role... Still only 21, Wamser still has time to further grow/develop her attacking qualities. But if I'm being honest... while it initially appeared to be a random decision from her coaches, as a RB I don't think Wamser has had a better period of form in her young career.
... No... I like Zadrazil as the DM, but whatever box to box role Straus had her doing this season.... no, just no lol. And being a very positive speaker on the qualities of Piljic, I find it even funnier seeing her name here, when I'm sure she spent a lot of her time being injured this season...
Horrendous new club crest and a name change for Lyon, but I'm hoping this removes the voodoo that's seen top German talent in France end up becoming increasingly irrelevant for the wnt... Moving to an overall stronger team which already uses highly effective wide forwards such as Dumornay, Diani, Chawinga, is a decision that surely requires Brand grow up quickly; as I doubt she'll be finding any regular playing time by repeating the same positional/tactical errors we've witnessed during her time at Wolfsburg. Age 22, about to spend most of her time sat on Lyon's bench, this is a genuine drown or swim moment for Brand, as her hopes for gaining regular access to first team football will only take place with her showcasing some genuine consistency. Some positives can be seen here if everything goes well... but my worst fear here is Lyon just converting Brand into a FB, and Germany's wnt losing another young offensive talent.
It’s been reported Brand signed an 3 year contract at salary of $564K an year all I could find on Sydney Lohmann is something like maybe she’s making about $44K an year
Salaries aren’t generally disclosed but Pernille Harder’s was posted at only $332K an year at Bayern(she’s been consistently one of Europe’s top 3-5 players since 2017). Lyon’s has a bigger budget & been known to pay higher salaries. I’ve seen figures of $400-450K giving in the past for players like Diani, Hegerberg & Heaps. The highest salary I’ve ever seen posted is Sam Kerr’s at $600K at Chelsea. Jule Brand’s $564K as nevertheless astonishing & probably will make her now the most highest salary paid(per year)German woso player of all the time. Dunno what else what to liook at—-Oberdorf’s transfer fee from WOB to Bayern was listed at $485K—and usually only half of an transfer fee would go towards an salary
