website’s soccerway, FOTMOB & SoFar all have Beerensteyn with 17 league goals, but guess what matters is the official league site which has her with 16(which is Cerci’s finally tally)

overall, I got to be happy with Jule Brand’s final couple of performances, as she’s finally emerging as arguably Germany’s best player-though could of been due to the interim coach-doesn’t mean she’ll continue to flourish under an different coach

The difference is the 3:1 goal from 22nd September 2024 against Köln which DFB gave Jule Brand - others Lineth Beerensteyn.

Hmmmm.... leaving a team who no longer used her as their FW/CAM, to join a club who doesn't use a CAM's, having stopped using a system to accommodate an experienced AM like Kögel, and a really impressive CAM like KLV.

I'm not sure this is the best move for Fudalla to make..., but maybe this hints at Leverkusen potentially losing Kramer in the summer...:cautious:

As a FW, Nicole Anyomi might be Germany's best option right now, but is part of a wnt program who'd rather force her into FB, or winger positions, to accommodate others who continue to sit beneath her within the regular competition of club football...:whistling:

but Servette is an Swiss club. This sounds more like stepping up from minors to major league, surprised at the lack of buying power from Bayern.

Servette only managed 3rd place in the Swiss league regular season, only 7th in their comprehensive playoffs. A league that voted an unknown 19 yer old named Lyett as mvp.

I don’t see this coach being able to recruit the players or let’s say ‘whole package’ in order to win the Champions League, or at least get it out of it’s stuck in an rut of exiting out the quarter finals or below

got to say; I wished WOB’s interim coach could get a an full time job, she’s one of the few German coaches that understood to use of speed(when it’s at your disposal), I mean after the Stroot led disaster vs Barca where th aging slow pope. Popp & selfish Beereynsteen for his main goal getters. The speedier Brand & Jonsdottir proved to be way more efficient instead—-as proven as they jumped to an 3-0 within 14 mins vs arguably the best defensive team in the league in Lev. By switching to an 4-4-2, gave the two front runners(Brand & Jonsdottir) so much more space to work with.

The best thing for Brand to keep on perfecting her direct attack, moves is to go to an medium club like Shakira Martinez did, but probably going to be stuck being picked up by the likes of the revolving door of players being miss used as like Bayern & WOB have become

Servette isn't even the best team in the Swiss league, this is a sad and desperate move.

Winker is clearly set on a direct path to become Germany's next #1 GK, but Mahmutovic or Borggräfe have at least one more season to prove themselves deserved rivals for the title of Germany's best female GK.
