The behaviours on show during this one game the main reason behind my initial post, as I found it an all round comedically bad moment. Meaning the idea women's football exists on a realm of morality all of it's own a perplexing stance to take, as all female players will still naturally replicate the same dirty tricks witnessed within men's football. Me personally witnessing truly wild late goal celebrations result in nothing but further ET in men's football, showcasing if we learned anything from this scenario during Mainz Vs Wolfsburg, is that compared to men, these women were far more controlled than they could have been in their response to Matsumoto's actions lol. This same incident occurs within men's football, Matsumoto potentially starts a full brawl between players, and in certain stadiums potentially even much worse depending on the nature of the home fans... Hold on... while I dislike a lot of nonsense driving men's professional football, the idea it's all negative when it's literally openly funding the progression of the women's game is pretty hilarious... Your talking about men's football actively gathering supporters groups of grown adult men to come and support women's teams, with owners pouring huge amounts of money into something they'll never see a real return lol. But I'm supposed to pretend there aren't elements of this good will from men's football, that aren't in 100% altruistic good faith, using sound but often activist based reasoning....? I know a lot of negativity exists in the men's game... but considering it's long history and the a truly global popularity, I don't see the justification to pretend the removal of certain factors related to men's football wouldn't significantly damage the women's game... Lol.. the women will literally replicate men's play styles, and their celebrations. But we're going to pretend they won't dive, or cheat, bending the rules in a similar fashion to gain in game advantages like the men.
The referee forum consists of referee's, what else would it be filled with... But I know your determined to pretend the game simply black and white never grey, where rules are the rules and are never to be broken. But obvious to me, these rules come with other stipulations that's allow there to be some flexibility in how they're meant to be in enforced during games. And I feel like you 100% understand this too, but following our last back and forth on this subject have decided to turn this into Spartan like Thermopylae pass, where there will be no backward step taken... However, instead of holding an irrational desire for me to grovel at the feet of being wrong, or feeling like your needing to remain embattled, can't you just slightly turn your head to grasp how this same subject is solved every week without any yellow cards being shown to the offending GK... The referee's you spoke to simply providing confirmation bias to a direct question of do you think this a yellow/red card offense, no? But at any point did you ask them if there was any scenario where they wouldn't need to showcase a card to the GK...? Because for all the frustration you clearly still hold on this subject, I've seen loads of incidents like this in men's and women's football, where no card is shown to the GK, and never felt the desire to stand ten toes down on this lack of yellow or red card being wrong within the context of the wider game.
@Lohmann I did a check, can't find the highlights... but look for last seasons Frankfurt Vs RB Leipzig, where 86' mins Freigang scored a PK. If my memory still correct... I'm sure it's a result if Anyomi being fouled 1v1 vs Leipzig's GK, where the GK doesn't receive any yellow or red card. If you can't find it, I'll look for other examples later this week, where the game witnessed no yellow or red cards for GK's fouling opposing players during a 1v1.
@blisset 1863248336792289775 is not a valid tweet id Finding video's that won't be blocked in here is difficult (I hope this one works), but this should show you a recent example of a goal celebration that resulted in ZERO cards being shown to a player (in your opinion) intentionally wasting time... One of the players who didn't score the goal picks up the ball and kicks it into the stands lol. Exactly like I tried to explain to you, this practice being incredibly normal in wider football, without anybody believing it's close to anything like unsportsmanlike conduct.
I can't see the video, but without it being a 1v1 Vs the GK, this obviously wasn't the scenario I was talking about then... Plus I'm not sure how much wider football you watch, but it's incredibly strange seeing you refuse to accept yellow and red cards aren't regularly shown to 1v1 fouls from a GK... But it doesn't matter... I'll make a concerted effort to find the relevant footage now, as this particular scenario really isn't random or controversial enough to require such a sustained debate.
Just the game from start to finish; fantastic job by Freigang, she either scored, assisted or set up 4 goals in that 2nd half—her U of Penn State soccer training really did come in handy! otherwise felt like they might be an suspectable again to quick counters; it only the Swiss had Banda on their squad, they could of had an 3-0 lead within the first 12 minutes. As usual MVT style, the CB’s were left alone to deal with it after another wipeout, hopefully the league doesn’t try & recruit another batch of Swiss—-as we all know by if Bundesliga likes the Swiss almost as much as mediocre Austrian players and the biggest question would be; what on earth happened with Alesha Lehmann’? Close ups revealed a disfigured face with a bunch of Botox & gross lip fillers
@blissett maybe this cilip of Enzo standing up to American Iindurstial might could be shown for inspiration to the Italian payers shortly before today's game. Just remember to dub one part for Ford & Henry Ford to BMW & whoever heads it
here are the latest market updates. dunno how on earth Lohmann got on this one, though I heard she makes an great benchwarmer! Dang, eight from Bayern, only one for the Wolfies, whats that all about?
Brand more valuable than Lohmann? Something is wrong here. 8 Bayern players but only 1 from Wolfsburg? Must be someone with a weird dislike for Wolfsburg.
Bev wins 1-0 WOB needs to put Popp out to pasture, once again she’s done nothing as #9 properly he Wolfies worst game of the season
dummy move for Essen to pull up their GK for an an corner kick, Stsnway scores against the empty net Bayern 2-0 final
