Yes, it always happens when Straus needs to talk with his players and as usual Grohs can continue after her "treatment".
LOL... I'm still waiting until the winter break to provide opinion on what I've been seeing at the top of the league this season; but damn... after the referee understood the assignment Vs Leverkusen, from what I just saw it felt like Freiburg became another side to throw away 3 points Vs Bayern... I don't know why it needed to happen, but removing Felde at HT basically halted Freiburg's ability to positively effect the game through mid-field, with the later removal of their front 3 (Zicai, Martinez, Vobain), seeing their coach place even further strain on his teams intention to defend deep. Freiburg being a surprise team for many this season, have defiantly benefited from their young attackers showcasing far more maturity than expected. This best seen in someone like Zicai, who between the u20 WC and her club form, is showcasing the type of improved decision making that finally allows her to provide more end product from her strong dribbling ability. So.... after losing junior wnt talents Bender and Martinez, for the same issue of both wanting more access to regular playing time. If speculation/rumours are correct, and Frankfurt are looking to bring Zicai to their club next season, I wonder if she accepts the offer or turns it down....
I still remember there was a point in time where Freiburg was filled with enough wnt level talent to compete with UWCL semi/finalist level Wolfsburg teams on a eye to eye level... Däbritz, Benkarth, Gwinn, Simon, Magull, Bühl, and their coach all joining Bayern lol... Freiburg used to be a legit club for aggregating domestic talent; but without being a talent rich right now, it's been interesting to see them attain back to back home draws with Bayern...
now the link works! Would like to see pretty please highlights of Batfink arch nemesis, Laura Freigang hat trick today vs Koln—-making it the fourth hat trick of the season
Frankfurt - Köln 8:0(3:0) Freigang(21,30,57), Reuteler(40,90), Wolter(64), Doorsoun(69p), Senß(75) Leverkusen - Potsdam 3:0(2:0) Kögel(4), Kramer(13), Turanyi(63) Jena - Bremen 0:1(0:1) Schmidt(19) Monday: Essen vs Leipzig 2.Bundesliga Andernach - Bayern II 1:1 Freiburg II - Gütersloh 0:3 Weinberg - Bochum 2:1 Ingolstadt - Hamburger SV 0:3 Meppen - Nürnberg 0:1 Mönchengladbach - Union Berlin 0:0 Sand - Frankfurt II 0:0 1.Nürnberg 25 2.Union Berlin 21 3.Bochum 21 4.Hamburger SV 18
Essen - Leipzig 0:0 1.Wolfsburg 22 24-7 2.Frankfurt 20 31-5 3.Bayern 20 24-10 4.Leverkusen* 17 15-8 5.Leipzig 16 15-17 6.Freiburg* 14 15-15 7.Bremen 14 9-11 8.Hoffenheim 12 17-17 9.Essen 8 9-12 10.Jena 3 3-12 11.Köln 2 7-27 12.Potsdam 1 0-28 *Freiburg - Leverkusen 2:3 not included
Uh... that result looks suspiciously like a motion of no confidence for the coach ability made by Köln players
I guess without Potsdam being worse the coach would already be fired. After the match on Monday against Bremen they have a 3 week break (DFB-Pokal (already out) and National team) before the match in Potsdam. A good time to change the coach if they lose against Bremen.
Cornelia Kramer has been another fantastic piece of recruiting by Leverkusen... KLV barely needing to play a good game for them this season, but part of an improved overall team with more depth on the bench, it's seen Leverkusen continue the strong form witnessed last season. And it's crazy looking at this league right now, seeing Leverkusen 4th place only two points from being 1st, as Hoffenheim somehow find themselves languishing 8 points behind them now in 8th place..
That's my point. Last season if KLV didn't play well, Leverkusen didn't really do well. But this season we've seen this team bring in new players and actually improve their first 11 enough to no longer depend on one or two individuals to decide their fate anymore. Leverkusen actually have enough quality in their starting 11, to have it extend to a legit amount of quality on their bench, allowing someone like KLV to go from a 5 goal 7 assists attacker, to a so far zero goals 2 assists attacker... This not a negative against KLV, but in fact a positive of Leverkusen's general surprising level of improvement this season. They've even accomplished this while adjusting their formation from a 5-3-2 to a 4-4-2 lol. It's impressive.
