Chiba was part of Japan’s Olympic squad(thus one of their top 18 players). Surprised she’ll except a sub role, but in this case it worked well enough for her. Freiburg was down to ten players for most of the half & in a last ditch effort to salvage the game, send to many of its defenders upfield. After making FOTMOB’s new #1 power ranking, Zicai falls out of top 10 & again our beloved darf, Kogel, back on top. Popp shockingly tied for 2nd with Reuteler. Freigang crashes into the #4 spot(first time top 10). Meantime, Brand falls to #79/Lohmann to #84 I haven’t s en all of them thanks to lack of highlights, but goal of the week(for me)is between Cerci, Endemann & Freigang’s first. Either one, it’s refreshing to see these spectacular 1v1 goals. We might just turn yet Germans into triple expresso yet!(though might want to hit the tanning booths, lol)

Decision remains the same: Freiburg vs Leverkusen has to be replayed. The hearing took place under the chairmanship of Judge Heinz Müller. Commenting on the reasons for the ruling, he said: "This is not a factual decision that cannot be reviewed in principle, but rather ignorance of a rule and thus a violation of the rules. This violation also had an impact on the evaluation of the game as lost or drawn - so the game had to be rescheduled." The decision of the DFB Sports Court can be appealed to the DFB Federal Court within a week of its announcement.
well apparently you didn’t even watch the game or just don’t give an damn unless it’s WOB or Bayern playing
looks to me that Bayern decided to play bunker soccer with Harder on top as the lone striker. At away games, Lohmann’s previous assignment akways been to carry the team’s luggage up the stairs to the hotel rooms(figuratively speaking of course), now starting, Straus probably ordering her to feed the ball to Harder, so she can continue being the star of the team….
Juve’s quite interesting, only four Italian starters despite having something like half their NT roster on the squad. Out of the foreign mercs; Krumbiegel starts at r-back, but JUV starts three CB’s, so hopefully for her, her miserable defending wouldn’t be exposed. Vansgaard starting at striker , if I recall the German NT made her look like a superstar about this time last year and watch out for Calligaris, not her playing skills but cuz she’s so freaking hot lookin! Yep, even hotter than her Swiss team mate, Lehmann(who’s not starting Bennison; this Swede was voted best youth player back around spring of 2021. So far hasn’t lived up to her potential, but you never know, today could be her lucky day
Despite the win, rather dullish game to watch, mainly cuz of Strauss borefest style, though helped out by JUV’s insistence on playing a rather defensive 5-back which can usually be an hit or miss kinda thing. Don’t get why Strauss only used 2 subs, but with numerous standing still, short passes in this one, doubt I doubt if he’s players got much of a workout. JUV got 30K audience for it’s a match vs Rome last Sunday—yet few fans attended this one. Makes you wonder if the Champions League isn’t anymore what’s it’s been cracked up to be, lol
I don't want to talk about club football right now... but damn.... Wilms is going to be facing Chawinga today...
