Anyomi was nominated for the game against England in October which was unfortunately canceled. Her father is from Togo and her mother from Ghana but she was born in Germany and I don`t think she would play for Togo or Ghana if she has the chance to play for Germany.

Ghana’s made the World Cup 3 times/the Olympics once.
Now look at Ridulic who was part of the German youth squad that won the u19 Euro championship/waited all the way till 2017(to get picked up by the GER senior squad) until finally deciding to play for Croatia(who’s woso squad has no laurels to speak off). So not so far fetched!

Was Anyomi injured when the roster was picked for the last round of qualifiers? Cuz MVT chose the slow pokish mid, Wolter, instead.
Leupolz took a back seat n this game as Chelsea crushed West Ham, 6-0(4 in the 25 minutes), with an hat trick from Harder. Most of West Ham’s squad were made of 2nd tier international types, so it goes to show just what a team of superstars like current Chelsea can do!
Meantime their coach, Emma Hayes, bern offered the job as head coach on the men’s club called AFC Wimbledon, wonder if she can take Chelsea’s budget with her? lol

The last time Ghana was qualified for the World Cup was 2007 and they never qualified for the Olympic Games. In a friendly before the Olympic Games 2016 Germany thrashed them 11:0.

There are some players that played in youth national teams for Germany and on senior level for a different country but which of these players would be helpful for Germany? When Rudelic decided to play for Croatia she was in Jena for which she scored two goals in 61 games!

Anyomi missed the games against Greece and Ireland because of a surgical procedure.

The Bundesliga will be back after the winter break in 2 hours with Wolfsburg-Potsdam. Frankfurt-Duisburg and Bremen-Freiburg were already cancelled and Essen had to change the stadium for their game against Sand.

For Blissett: Hoffenheim-Leverkusen will be shown in a livestream on Sunday 14.00

Japan is not listed as risk area in Germany so I guess she is allowed to play. The players in the Frauen-Bundesliga will be corona tested two days before a match.

    It is snowball in Wolfsburg!

Edit: Better start for the Snowbinen who dominated the game until Lena Oberdorf`s offside goal. New Snowwolf Rebecka Blomqvist with the lead shortly before the first snow break.

Great first half in the Snowball-Bundesliga.

Hendrich with the immediate answer to Cerci`s equalizer. The Snowbinen sometimes too aggressive and Bahnemann is send off with her second yellow card after a foul against Oberdorf.

Here's the full game. Wolfsburg didn't look like an powerhouse anymore for majority of the game as Potsdam was playing them even though they were down to 10 since late in the 1st half. Their 20 year old fwd, Cerci, is getting quite a following --- cute looks to go along with her fashionable high ponytail. She's also shows she can be a star with an future as she bruned both Goessling & Doorsoun for an goal

Shouldn't they have canceled the game if it was snowing like that?

I doubt that you can draw to much conclusions after a game in such conditions. Wolfsburg needed some time to adapt to the conditions but after Oberdorf`s offside goal they dominated the game. After Jakabfi`s goal Potsdam were desperate defending but weren`t offensively dangerous anymore.

Despite the win the Wolfsburg coach and players were unhappy with the referee`s decision to play. On the other hand in former times before stadiums got under-soil heating it wasn`t unusual to play in such conditions.

Essen-Sand is also cancelled. The weather forecast for Munich and Sinsheim is better so that I have hope that at least Bayern-Meppen and Hoffenheim-Leverkusen can play. When I look out of my window it is all white.

WOB only managed a tie last week in der ‘testspiel’. As Is, I don’t see them able to beat the current powerhouses they might meet in the Championship League(Lyon, PSG, Chelsea, Man City, Barca).
They played an short handed Potsdam team that had a lot of inexperienced newbies on it. That an novice like Cerci was able to puncture holes in WOB’s defense(previously only done by world class, elite players like the ones on Lyon) shows how much they’ve fallen off.
Maybe they’ll be better when Pajor gets back or Doursoon & Popp are fully recovers from injury. They now really need to be thinking about settling to an regular starting ‘eleven’(so they’ll be more chemistry), but got the funny feeling they’ve promised all those mass signings, rotating playing time(as well as an responsibility to MVT that her picks don’t languish on the bench)

Well deserved lead for Hoffenheim. Early in the match Bayer had good chance to set the game, but they didn't take it (nor any other later) and Hoffenheim did punished them for it (uh...that yawning hole in defense when the goal was scored). Second half should be interesting.

    Waiting for Tanaka debut.

Well...as it turns out not really. Same error with 2nd goal (furthest player had acres of space - no cover whatsoever) and 3rd was from individual error (Matysik?) and indvidual brilliance of Billla.

With Bayer 0:3 down now I doubt that Tanaka can turn the game around.

It's highly unlikely :D though I woudn't mind seeing her putting at least one on the board. I really hope she will get playing time in this Bayer side. (Naomoto wasted 2 years in Freiburg)

Yeah, this goal pretty much sums it up. Hoffenheim is UWCL ticket contender, Bayer not so much.

Tanaka debut at 81' with Leverkusen trailing by 5 (Iwabuchi debuted vs. Man City when Villa was trailing by 6 ;))

the just turned 18 year old Jule Brand—-what planet did she come from? I mean with her mutant speed she burned a vet like Kerschowski over & over again. New discoveries like her will keep Germany a woso superpower for decades to come
Now the only question is when will either BM or WOB buy her so they can have one more trophy on their mantle?——[or the fem nod] another notch in their lipstick case!
and why was Krumbiegel commenting?(do you think it pays more than playing for HOF, lol)
BL were missing their usual starting CB’s(Bruggemann & Wich)/their only dangerous attacker, Nicolic, taken off a bit too early, but then she hadn’t handled being in for 90 minutes previously
