There are sources that give the second Hoffenheim goal to Waßmuth but I like the Ostermeier own goals more.
I understand the Ostermeier sisters trying to make history as the only sister team to score own goals in the same game, but it ain’t fair, I tell you, to Wassmuth who as usually dominated the highlights
I don`t think that there is a relationship between Selina and Lena Ostermeier. Otherwise it would have surely been mentioned when Selina joined Essen this year. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lena_Ostermeier https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selina_Ostermeier
Pauline Bremer will miss the rest of the season with an ACL and MCL injury. So bitter: @pauline_bremer hat sich im Spiel gegen den SC Sand das Kreuz- und Innenband im rechten Knie gerissen. Gute Besserung, Pauli! 💚🙏ℹ➡ https://t.co/Z2m9rhe1Mh#VfLWolfsburg pic.twitter.com/pfzkaYfdaf— VfL Wolfsburg Frauen (@VfL_Frauen) October 9, 2020 Bremer`s last goal https://tv.dfb.de/video/highlights-vfl-wolfsburg-vs-sc-sand/28678/
WOW that is an bummer! I remember her starting for Turbine Potsdam as an 17 year old in 2013 & looking just as good & competent as any well worn vet. Then dominating & voted best offensive player at the u20 WC one year later. The future seemed bright, but an devastating knee injury at Man City took 2 years to recover from & now this. Shame for Germany that major injuries have cut short the promising potential of at least 3 big, offensive minded players; Keßler, Lotzen & now Bremer. Guess there’s nothing wrong in peaking early in your career, just got the wonder if they get pushed into the spotlight a little too soon? As all 3(add Gwinn as well) got injured while playing for clubs that got major aspirations
Bremer was injured when she got stuck in the turf. I don`t see a relation between the injury and playing for an ambitious club. In the case of Lotzen it is her aggressive style of play that makes her injury-prone.
The dwarfs from Freiburg used their sling and hurt Goliath Wolfsburg. And even worse Popp might have a knee injury. https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/...sburg-frauen-zittersieg-freiburg-sorgen-popp/ Duisburg-Potsdam 2:3(2:1) Zielinski(5), Baucom(37) - Mesjasz(36,50), Cerci(73) Leverkusen-Bremen 3:0(1:0) Wich(35), Kerschowski(63), Nikolic(79) Meppen-Essen 1:3(0:1) Berentzen(47) - Senß(45), Feldkamp(67p), Wamser(84) Hoffenheim-Bayern 0:4(0:2) Ilestedt(3), Lohmann(32), Wenninger(79), Asseyi(86) Freiburg-Wolfsburg 1:1(0:0) Kayikci(90+5) - Jakabfi(70) Sand-Frankfurt 3:2(1:1) Georgieva(15), Hoppius(77), Loos(80) - Freigang(39,51) Bayern 18 points, Wolfsburg and Potsdam 16 points 2.Bundesliga Nord Jena-Berghofen 0:1 Mönchengladbach-Potsdam II 2:0 Leipzig-Bocholt 5:1 Gütersloh-Bielefeld 5:1 2.Bundesliga Süd Saarbrücken-Ingolstadt 2:0 Bayern II-Köln 1:3 Andernach-Niederkirchen 5:0 Würzburg-Frankfurt II 1:2
very poor game for Hoffenheim; last year they upset Byaern Munich about this same time. But now they looked like a shadow of themselves; their 2 starting FB's(from last year) transferred/two of their better players(Lattwein & Hartig) are injured, as well as they started their 3rd stringer GK,, an 18 year old that looks like could loose a little weight! only Krumbiegel looked decent in this one, almost scoring on an Carli Lloyd bomb. But otherwise, just don't get the new coach, insisting on short passes from the back from his relatively inexperienced lineup was hoping for at least an mostly German lineup, but no such luck, foreign mercs made 6 of the starters, so we didn't get that 'marksmanshaft' feel from them this time/or least hoping to see Dallmann & Schuller in there as Buhl looked a little gun shy/Lohmann should of had 3 goals but flopped a couple of shots notoriously BM takes the league lead after the Wolfsburg tie. Just don't get WOB, why keep switching Popp? One game she plays outside mid, then CF next, & now to AM. Meantime Oberdorf gets switched to DM from her previous AM position(lienups/configurations below) and ala BM, a bevy of German NT's on the bench Freiburg vs. Wolfsburg - 11 October 2020 - Women Soccerway be bad if Popp is out, this would mean she along with Gwinn, Doursoon, Lattwein, Bremer not going to make it for the big friendly coming up later this month with England & then Buhl, Huth & Schuller not looking like goal scoring threats as of late
I wouldn`t trust these tactical formation from Soccerway. The Wolfsburg website has Popp as CF. https://www.vfl-wolfsburg.de/newsdetails/news-detail/detail/news/erstes-unentschieden/
So then Huth got moved to AM from her usual right side winger to make room for VDS. If Popp is not well for the England friendly, wonder who MVT going to pick for central striker? if she goes with Schuller, with her usual picks as wingers; Huth & Buhl, your looking at an combined total of 3 goals for the current season. It’s going to be a scary game vs England—if—Neville wises up & starts all these up coming, way more athletic attackers like Kelly, Russo & Beth E. Let’s hope he still uses his slow poke vets instead! And yeah, let’s hope MVT counters then with Krumbiegel & Freigang! Then got to wonder if she’ll pick Lohmann over Magull?
Highlights Freiburg-Wolfsburg (without the Popp injury) https://tv.dfb.de/video/highlights-sc-freiburg-vs-vfl-wolfsburg/28719/
Bremen-Meppen 2:1(1:0) Gidion(34), Tarczynska(87p) - Winczo(71) Bremen 3 points, Duisburg and Meppen 2 points.
well now the injury list for Wolfsburg is; Popp, Bremer, Doursoon, Rolfo & Pajor, but they still have enough quality players that Hendrich, Rauch & Jakabfi were subs in the last game ——————————- Good match coming up this Sunday between league leaders BM & tied for 2nd, Turbine Potsdam. TP the new Cinderella team even though so many of their promising players are injured(Schwalm, Gerhardt, Nielsen & the vet, Bianca Schmidt(unless she’s retired)). Watched their game vs Duisburg; passed the exceptional defense of Elsig(but apparently out of favor with MVT) they operate with two unknown fwds,Circi & Weidauer. For a while, their playmaker, Chielminski was doing really well(gassed a bit towards the end). Then their current leader scorer, Kossler, is just a sub, but watching her it did seem like she’s not 100% in shape, so yeah, just affording her 30 mins did make sense. But she’s so physical out there, they really need to get her with an personal fitness trainer and the potential would be unlimited. One thing the 4 players I’ve just mentioned have in common is their all 20 years old it or younger(so great future, except they’ll just be bought off by an richer club if they start looking too good) BM; I knew this was going to happen, previous top goal scorers Buhl & Schuller were going follow orders to be good team players & get the ball for the highest percentage shot, thus they got so far 1 goal between them for the season. In the meantime the foreign mercs get to take shots at will from anywhere & everywhere, thus Asseyi is now the 2nd leading goal scorer in the league. Is this an German philosophy; making it harder for their own players to score goals will make them better players?
here's highlights of the Frankfurt/Freiburg game. Once again an impressive performance from Gabby Hoffmann(#27) and add as well Steggemann(#16) who marked Freigang out of the game. Despite some great games, Freiburg is still only in 6th place, but at least the've played the 'big boyz' all ready, WOB & BM https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=215&v=UdVVAJBjBQI&feature=emb_logo

Wow, Sydney Lohmann has been excellent this season from what I've seen of her Much more effective than other options like Däbritz, Magull, Oberdorf, etc.
Because of rising number of Coronavirus cases in Germany only professional sport is allowed in November. So only the 1.Bundesliga should be able to play or if we share the opinion of hotjam2 only games between Wolfsburg and Bayern would be allowed.
yeah, just today(Nove 1st) Frankfurt won their cup game 11-0 vs the very professional club of Opel Russelsheim!
This weekend was the second round of DFB-Pokal played. Two 1.Bundesliga teams were eliminated. While Köln beating Leverkusen was not a big surprise this can`t be said for Essen losing in Gütersloh. Gütersloh have eliminated last season`s semi-finalists Bielefeld and finalists Essen! Games with 1.Bundesliga teams: Magdeburg-Potsdam 0:8(0:4) Kössler(14,29,47,76), Ehegötz(23,83), Smidt Nielsen(36), Mori(90) Bochum-Wolfsburg 0:11(0:5) Jakabfi(1,24,28,51), Oberdorf(11,67,81), Saevik(38), Goeßling(48p), Rauch(61), Wolter(80) Karlsruhe-Frankfurt 0:8(0:4) Freigang(4,45,90), Feiersinger(12p), Reuteler(23), Pawollek(57), Martinez(63,73) Bocholt-Duisburg 0:3(0:1) Angerer(6), Maierhofer(69), Morina(70p) Gütersloh-Essen 3:2aet Rieke(49), Aradini(75), Reimann(107) - Anyomi(32,88) Fortuna Köln-Bremen 0:2(0:0) Walkling(56), Radosavljevic(90) Jena-Bayern 0:2(0:1) Asseyi(35), Laudehr(74) Rüsselsheim-Freiburg 0:11(0:6) Kayikci(2,12), Sanders(20p,30,31), Starke(40,78), Memeti(60), Wensing(73), Knaak(85),Stegemann(90+1) Henstedt-Ulzburg-Meppen 2:3(1:2) Witt(45), Hahn(61) - Bitzer(25), Flaws(33), Berentzen(80) Ingolstadt-Hoffenheim 2:4aet Maier(64), Spittka(86) - Steinert(26), Hagel(49p), Beuschlein(93), Waßmuth(102) Köln-Leverkusen 1:0(0:0) Barrett(62)
Freiburg have won in Rüsselsheim. Rüsselsheim last Sunday had beaten the fourth team of Eintracht Frankfurt 6:3. Yes, I should have said beginning from the 2nd November.
Not only wolves applaud for the 5:0 win of Wolfsburg in Potsdam. 48' Und gleich das TOOOOOOOOR!!! Lena Oberdorf macht das 4:0. Einfach stark!! #PDMWOB 0:4 pic.twitter.com/EyZjzYM0QX— VfL Wolfsburg Frauen (@VfL_Frauen) November 6, 2020
Dominique Janssen following in the footsteps of Ronald Koeman as Dutch defender and free-kick specialist. She has scored a number of them now.
I like Oberdorf's attitude of enuf of foreign mercs scoring all the goals as she takes it in herself, though nice bycicle kick by Jabkafi Potsdam's still currently in 3rd place(or erste dwarf) took it's roster of practically unkowns vs the almost all NT squad, though they didn't start their usual midfield general, Chielminski Turbine Potsdam vs. Wolfsburg - 6 November 2020 - Women Soccerway
