Bielefeld-Wolfsburg II 0:3 Potsdam II is relegated and the relegation play-off is between Hoffenheim II and Mönchengladbach (20.6 and 27.6). 1.FC Nürnberg is promoted to the 2.Bundesliga and two more teams will be promoted after play-offs.
here are the four candidates to choose for mvp of the 2020-21 season. If you want to vote you got to go to the facebook frauen Bundesliga group which is here(I voted for Wassmuth) Frauenfußball National und International | Facebook
some transfer news for German players Carole Siems(Aston Villa) to Bayer Leverkusen Julia Debitski(Duisburg) to SGS Essen Gina Corley(Bayern Munich) to Hoffenheim Laura DonhauserBayern Munich) to Koln Leonnie Maier(Arsenal) to Everton Anyomi(Essen) to Frankfurt rumor is Bayern Munich trying to pick up Swedish teen sensation. Bennison Div 2 scoring champ, Vanessa Leimenstoll(HOF u20) will move to HOF1) of course nothing major as compared to perenial transfer champs, Lyon, who all ready have signed Bomnati(Barca), Endler(PSG) van De Donk(Arsenal) & rumor, Lindsey Horan(Portland)
2.Bundesliga relegation play-off Mönchengladbach-Hoffenheim II 0:1 and 1:2 Mönchengladbach is relegated. Nürnberg, Henstedt-Ulzburg and Göttelborn are promoted. Next season starts 27th August (1.Bundesliga) and 14th August (2.Bundesliga).
OMG no; now Turrid Knaak signs with Wolfsburg. So this will mean almost all of MVT’s favorite wingers(Knaak, Huth, Wassmuth, Starke, Bremer) will be on the same squad vying for playing time with what seems like half the Dutch national team! is HOF II also the HOF u20 squad?(so if the same, it would mean the older members will have to move on to HOF 1) PS I’ll give you the honors of starting the new season thread(as I can’t see getting past the predictable of the current name sake!, lol)
Yes, Hoffenheim II is Hoffenheim U 20. Second teams in 2. Bundesliga are allowed to have a maximum of three players in a game squad who are 20 or older on the 1st January of the year when the season begins. (so it should be for the next season born 2001 or later).
Now that Germany got eliminated from the men’s Euros at an very early stage, do you think some of that gigantic fan base might give the girls an try?( after all, their still ranked #2) Guess the answer going to be…. Not in our lifetime! lol Of course just an outside observer, but I feel Jorgie Low’s demented version of the total-Futebol concept turned his players into lifeless robots to where couldn’t even tell who’s suppose to be the fwd or mid or CB, which might be the point of it all on paper, but executed terribly wrong, as shown that Thomas Mueller couldn’t even side step the goalie & score what should of been an easy goal. After 14 years in charge, got feeling that the stench of Low took over German woso as well. The proof is in the pudding; the Bundesliga top goal scorers the last couple of seasons been foreigners whether it be Harder, Billa or Pajor(who had the best goal per minutes average) as well as produced particular CB standouts(my facebook group gave an non French NT name Moorehoos as league’s best CB). all this from an country that previously produced the world’s best striker in Gerd the bomber Muller, the worlds best winger in Karl Heinz Rummineger, as well as the worlds best CB in Franz Beckanbaur! So what I would definitely like to see this new season is the clubs trying to establish top players in individual positions, especially in the #9 & CB positions. This might be the only way for Germany to win next year’s Euros(of course spending a bit more money on woso would help too!)
