Schuller scores in the 22nd minute Rosengard will need now 5 goals to win!

Bayern win 1-0 in an rather dullish game as BM just played keep away with the ball rather than taking chances by moving up. Buhl & Lohmann didn't play. Their be taking on Chelsea, April 24, for the semi finals

It was plain boring, especially compared to yesterday's quarter-finals.

Do you think Bayern holds any chance of doing what Wolfsburg couldn't achieve (beating Chelsea)? For my part, I am persuaded that Chelsea will win.

It’s suppose to be a team sport, but having 2 of the 3 best players in the world in Harder & Kerr gives them an big extra edge. Arguably BM’s two best, 20 year olds, Lohmann & Buhl, can’t compare.

At least BM didn’t seem intimidated by Rosengard’s press, so there’s hope that they can navigate Chelsea’s road blocks better than WOB did , but ultimately don’t have the scoring prowess, plus too many injuries as Gwinn Demann Damnjanovic Ridulic & even Lohmann are all out. So yeah, right now I would have to go with Chelsea too

0:1 at HT. Frankfurt with a good game so far but Freigang`s shot only hit the bar. Memeti with a shot against the post for Freiburg.

Edit: Prasnikar with the equalizer after 47 minutes.

Edit 2: Feiersinger misses a big chance but only seconds later Camilla Küver scores the 2:1 for Frankfurt (63 minutes).

Wolfsburg are two up at half time against Bayern in the DFB cup semi-final. Popp and Pajor goal scorers. Can they hold on?

Wolfsburg held on to the 2-0 lead and move on to the final against Eintracht Frankfurt. Bayern's first defeat this season.

One blemish was the injury to Alex Popp. She limped off the field. Ilestedt (I think) kicked her with full power on the top of her foot during an incident in the penalty box.

Why hasn`t Wolfsburg played so in the second leg against Chelsea? Today they proved that they are still a world class team. A fully deserved win and no easy gifts for the opponent. The game also showed that those who think that the Bundesliga is already decided are wrong. Bayern has still to play Hoffenheim, Potsdam, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and Frankfurt! Including the Champions League games against Chelsea and a possible final this could be eight games where they can`t risk to rest their top players if they will lose the Bundesliga game in Wolfsburg.

    Wolfsburg-Bayern 2:0(2:0)
    Popp(13), Pajor(45+2)

    2.Bundesliga Nord
    Gütersloh-Jena 1:1
    Mönchengladbach-Leipzig 1:4
    Potsdam II-Berghofen 5:1
    Wolfsburg II-Bielefeld 0:0

    Süd
    Bayern II-Hoffenheim II 1:1
    Niederkirchen-Köln 0:4
    Saarbrücken-Würzburg 2:2
    Andernach-Frankfurt II 1:2

    highights of BM vs WOB

needless to say this didn't bode well for Bayern; not only beaten rather decisively, but apparent injuries to Benkarth & Buhl(otherwise why did they gave up their spots on the upcoming NT games?) but no report yet when Lohmann is coming back, would say their chances of beating Chelsea in the CL have gone from slim to none!

noticed that the one yotuber that posted full game Bundesliga matches has had all his videos delated due to new tough copyright infrigments. meaning we're going to be seeing even less games(as the above BM/WOB encounter was geo blocker for me)

Bumped into this episode of SportStudio also covering a bit of the development of women's football as part of the future plans of a task force for pro-football in Germany (starts about halfway I see) https://www.zdf.de/sport/das-aktuel...tuelle-sportstudio-vom-20-maerz-2021-100.html. Haven't watched yet but description mentions about 20% of the Bundesliga players can be considered professionals (most of them playing for Bayern and Wolfsburg). Similar to the Dutch Eredivisie I would think ...

Is it true that the Eredivisie’s number #1 scorer, Joelle Smits, is moving to Wolfsburg? If so; with WOB only using one striker in its usual setup(4-2-3-1) she would be maybe the 4th in line for that position( after Pajor, Blomqvist, Staevik). The other Dutch girl joining, Wilms(FC Twente) most likely as well at right FB(ahead of her; Hendrich, Wedermeyer, Blasse)

PS; just announced; Maxi Rall of Hoffenheim moves over to Bayern Munich. This would be the 3rd major player leaving HOF even though the season & summer isn’t even over yet. And that’s even though HOF probably will make the Champions League for nest season, but apparently their billionaire owner don’t think it’s a big enough deal to keep his players....

Benkarth has knee problems but Bühl doesn`t seemed to be injured. MVT decided that it was better to give her a break.

Buhl probably had a bad game vs Wolfsburg, but this was going to be inevitable when your used to playing considerable weaker opposition for the last several months & then finally facing an equally matched foe. This is why I’m so much against ‘Die Zwei Goliath und Zehn’ Dwarfs system in the Bundesliga I’m not sure if Buhl has really grown as an player since she scored that game winning goal at Wembley vs England as an 18 year. She really needs better competition, every single game she plays.

it’s been an disastrous couple of months for German soccer, both men & women. Hopefully MVT gives some confidence back & tries to win the next upcoming games(

What's going on with BL sponsor Flayeralarm? Some news are floating that they aren't happy with refs (suppousedly calling against the team they sponsor?) in men's 2nd division and want to pull out from deals already made with DFB.

They still want to sponsor women's football, so there's no danger for the flyeralarm bundesliga

The CEO of Flyeralarm Thorsten Fischer said that he cancel verbally the contracts with DFB because there have been allegedly eleven relevant wrong decisions against the Würzburger Kickers this season. The Flyeralarm Future Labs GmbH shares 49% of the Würzburger Kickers AG. DFB gets about 4 million Euro every year from Flyeralarm and most of this money is for perimeter advertising at national teams games. It is surely not possible to end the contracts early with DFB with this argument. Fischer said that he will consider the sponsoring of the Women`s Bundesliga separately from the men`s football. So we have to wait until he is unhappy with referee decisions against the women`s team which is also on a relegation place in the 2.Bundesliga.

    In five minutes: Bayern-Hoffenheim

Benkarth is still injured but Lohmann is at least on the bench. Krumbiegel only on the bench for Hoffenheim.

It`s going to be dramatic. Hoffenheim has equalized! Waßmuth(63) and Naschenweng(68) scored in a game that Bayern seemed to be in control.

Edit Billa scores after Krumbiegel`s pass: 2:3!(73)
