As someone else said, would we even be considering Vinicius if he was at another team? Probably not. I was the biggest Higuain fan and was pissed when he left. I also thought we should hang on to the likes of Ronaldo (R9) and Cabellos was good enough to start.

You just have to be ruthless at times. Firstly, we have to admit that buying young, unproven talent is not really our thing. We done well with Casemiro and Marcelo but have fallen flat recently whilst letting the likes of Bruno Fernandes go to someone else for a reasonable fee.

If he want to be competitive in Europe, we can't have any passengers.

 

We considered players like Aouar who have had struggles so it insults intelligence to say we wouldn't consider Vinicius.

I didn't want to comment because it obvious the forum wants to pile on the kid but he shouldn't be relied upon at 20 for a club the size of Madrid.

He should be a backup spark player who we allow to grow and get comfortable... not one we demand to be excellent every match.

Watching the likes of Miguel, Arribas, Blanco and even Higuain back in the day was less frustrating than watching Vinnie flubb a pass or shank a shot multiple times a game.

My hope is Mbappe demands to go and naturally PSG make it ugly but he refuses. Then PSG in a show of force take Hazars from us to make up for losing Mbappe.

We will be playing 4-3-3 if we have Benz, Ronaldo and Mbappe. Kroos, Casemiro, Fede, Camavinga, Modric and Blanco is enough depth for 3 man midfield imo. Hopefully no crazy amount of injuries like this season. Carva/Lucas as RBs, Mendy/Miguel as LBs. Militao-Alaba starting CBs. Nacho back up. Need a veteran 4th CB.

 

The thought of the club being distracted with Hazard and Bale nonsense this summer really irks me... We have important work to do, we really don't need the distractions.
