Kinda hard to properly plan for that when you were thinking Mbappe was coming. He really screwed us over with that.

 

I think we should show our muscles and sign either Christiano Ronaldo, Edin Dzeko or Edinson Cavani as backup to Benzema. We can afford it and they guarantee goals. We don't want another backup striker like Jovic or Mariano who needs to play a lot to be useful or a very young player where we only stifle his progress

 

Good luck to Manchester United this season. Sounds like Ronaldo is going to be a massive problem on top of a bunch of over-paid players who are already there. I now have much more appreciation for Arteta and the job he done clearing out all the toxic wood at Arsenal.

As a Bosnian, I hope we sign Dzeko. He's still serviceable as a backup. He can't be worse than Elvir Baljic.

 

Gouiri’s name came up earlier this summer. I thought that could be a reasonable move.

 

I don't see it since he is not a centerforward, he is a left winger. Sesko looks really weak, not a good centerforward attribute, and he has a hugely inflated price
