The deal as I always remember it was for the liguilla. CCL isn’t the liguilla. A team playing with national players against an mls team doesn’t effect the liguilla whatsoever. How does that make the liguilla uneven when the CCL has no bearing on the liguilla? Lmfao. Get scored on 7 times by tigres a season and wants to make excuses now, it’s real midget loser behavior

 

Chivas could get scored on by tigres by 1k goals, and it still needs to be fair. Speaking of midget loser behavior, not one person has made any excuse, so wtf are you talking about?

What's my favorite part about following El Tri? Oh, that's easy, it's the incredible vibes before the WC...

Said noone ever, seriously when was the last time there wasn't some stupid drama/shit that pisses everyone off right before the fvcking WC and the vibes weren't terrible? I was really hoping this would be the year there wouldn't be such a stink for once but nope, sigh. Suppose i should've seen it coming when it people were already whining months ago over the extended camp taking away players during the liguilla, off to a great start. Then we get this shitshow over Toluca/Amaury/the FMF basically telling the players if you don't show up to camp then fvck you which only served to add even more fuel to the fire.

Pre 2022 it was Santi Gimenez & Acevedo getting snubbed, everyone and their grandma wanting Tata Martino's fat argie head and even more doomerism than usual. 2018 was the typical doomerism, Pizarro being snubbed, plus some of the players like Ochoa and Layun were caught partying by the media, some of them also brought hookers to camp. Didn't read twitter pre 2014 but things were fine on here. Knowing mexicans it was more "Piojo sucks they're trash they ain't getting a single point" the usual. That brings me back to my original question, was it 2010? I know ppl were pissed over Ochoa being benched but i think that was during the cup and not before.

 

Can’t really recall any drama before the 2010 World Cup. Maybe Jona getting left off the final list?

During the World Cup though everyone was bitching about Memo & Chicharito not starting. Conejo & Guille were completely useless

Heh i forgot that part about Cheech... in fact i've forgotten him in more ways than one. He was easily my favorite Mexican player in the 2010s but once he left Europe and got permabanned from la selección he just faded away, vanished like a fart in the wind as Warden Norton said. Damn shame, but i'll always remember the good times.

And yeah we still haven't reached the final list drama, if Santi gets cut once again i'm not looking forward to the temper tantrum from Cruz Azul fans and dickriders in general how he should pull a Vela or something going forward, bunch of cornballs

But hey at least they finally told Charly Rodriguez to take a hike, bro lived off a 2019 CWC game for years i shit you not, idc how good he is with Cruz Azul he's never ever been good in a Mexico kit, he got 50 more appearances than he deserved
