Mofo has sat Ochoa for Perez, left out a young Jona2Saint for Bofo/castro/medina, benched cheech for Franco, and limited Carlos ********ing Vela as a sub. Hell im willing to bet if he could, he would bench our best forward, Raul, for guille.

 

This year it will be taking Berterame instead of hormiga.

Aguirre wants three or four strikers, but Quiñones can't be one option because he wants him on the wing (thank God he's shown improvement there), while Santi has been inconsistent and hurt and behind him (assuming Hormiga is ahead of him, although he still hasn't produced much in the NT yet) are guys like Memote Martínez, or Alí Ávila or the remains of Macías.

And being honest, once Raúl hangs them up, he'll be in the conversation, at least as depth, until one of the few youngsters there steps up.

True, I really like Vargas but it seems a lot of people think he’s not ready because that one play. He’s doing well so far in Spain and seems to have gained the trust of simeone already. It’s a champions league week but still cool to start vs the league leaders

Promising. I do wonder how he’ll fare in Europe though. He’s got the typical 5’5” slowish profile we’re used to seeing.

 

Its his ability on the ball and creativity that makes him standout. If he can draw defenders away from jimenez and drive him space, jimenez will have room to score.
