Why does this seem so positive?

 

He’s a pro and not a rube. He’s been away from Mexico for a long time and knows what’s childish and what’s important. Mexican business culture is garbage and when you’re in it you forget you’re in a dump and you think it’s the most important thing in the world. Remove yourself and gain perspective and come back to it and you can be positive because you know what better looks like.

 

I was "watching" the press conference at a taqueria with the sound muted, and all I could feel was a sense of dread.

Because as much as I have no faith in the federation or vasco Rafa gives me hope. By far the best Mexican player I’ve watched in my lifetime (didn’t witness Hugo), success followed him everywhere and I feel he’s able to read the game beyond the average player.

 

Idk I remember hearing stuff about how he refused to look at certain players, the main one who comes to mind is Pardo, left him out of 02 and 2010 after he had a pretty good 06 and was consistently good in the Bundesliga

People are nervous that Vasco will bench Santi for Raúl, but I just don’t see it with Santi just yet. You have to be brain dead to not score in the Eredivisie.

If we’re chasing a goal, I’m still more confident with Raúl than with Santi.
