That's a lie. He's now backing down but not only was it known but I saw him claim it in one of those old ESPN shows and said that Bofo was a crack. He's nuts.

Aguirre is a definite retread manager move. But out of the lot, he is probably the best retread manager for Mexico. Not saying I like this move but you do what you can with what you have. I hope he doesn't have more baffling player selections (see: WC 2010). Having Rafa in the background and learning the NT workflow, it is not terrible. Assuming he gets the gig at 2030 tho.
He’s going even deeper into it recently. I do recall reading that Aguirre and Ambriz also had a falling out at some point, was it related to something similar?
