FMF can make money off ponchos by setting up travel packages exclusively through the FMF. They can send them to learn about the country while they go down there to catch a game.

I wonder if there’s any substance to these rumors that Lavolpe is a candidate to be aguirre’s assistant

I guess we'll have to see how flexible Aguirre and/or LaVolpe are.

Personally, I’m excited, but also it’s strange because for a year the narrative was that Lozano didn’t have enough experience, now everyone is excited for someone that doesn’t have much experience. Imo it would probably be better for him to stay at Barcelona but who knows when the first team would give him an opportunity

Agree with you of rafa gets job now as head coach. If he is going to be assistant for 2 years under Aguirre then I don't think it's the same as Jimmy

I don't get giving him the job in 2030....he hasn't coached at any level for a NT or any first division team

If he was on the shortlist for Monaco or Porto....I would prefer he go there because Barcelona would choose Bojan to coach them over Rafa

I find it interesting that a week ago Carrillo said he would undoubtedly be aguirre’s assistant because he has so much respect for him and would love to help, then after Marquez was announced as the most likely candidate he said don’t ask him because he’s not interested and not needed and would only coach as the head coach. I wonder if he got his feelings hurt or made an approach and got rejected.

Wasn't Carillo part of his staff in 2010?

The teams he was a part of always had nice flowing attacking football, he hasn’t coached in a while though so who knows how that time off could affect him. I heard him say also he suggested Aguirre start Ochoa over Perez, to take Castillo instead of bofo, and one more major change which Aguirre refused to listen to lol rest is history

Heard a lot of of one of the tena brothers also being part of the staff
