Is this victor Guzman's first call up since 2019?

Something that happened off the field conduct wise that never went into detail. But apparently Tata didn’t like it and never called him to the NT after that. Kinda like with Chicharito

He wasn't really blackballed. There are rumors that he cursed people out when he was dropped from the Olympic team but overall he was a good offensive player who constantly makes mistakes defensively that end up being costly. If this was true in Liga MX, it would be worse in the international level. He should have been played up top because he's always been a defensive liability as what just happened against Pumas.

    It's not that Guzman.

Also I would wait for it as David Medrano is always full of it and the best example is saying they will call up Fidel Ambriz and Moreno of Leon, when Leon will be in the Club World Cup when the Colombia friendly is played.

It was never a possibility with the leagues cup, expanded Concacaf cup, campoeones cup, whatever the hell else competitions they keep making up. FIFA’s response was apparently that it would complicate qualifying for their expanded club World Cup but i have a feeling the concacaf people lobbied$ to sway that decision

if anything it should be more incentive to make policy regarding selling players to Europe, something like Japan where they won't sell above a certain price. ive heard rumors now that feyenoord wants to by chiquito but similar to Chavez they're denying the sale because they don't feel the money is enough. I also hear rumors that a lot of young guys are making lateral moves, for example Marcel Ruiz is supposedly going to Chivas the same time of shit Cordova did, or Pizarro multiple times. these guys need to be focusing on going to Europe not Chivas or tigres. the club World Cup might bring some interesting games since it'll be in a group format but I think it's only every four years right? that's not really going to help with development like playing in libertadores every year would

If a player like Marcel Ruiz doesn't have offers from Europe he should absolutely go to a team like Chivas or Tigres.

Mexican players are like real estate in SoCal.

    Overvalued. Overpriced.

Looks like we’ll be playing Uruguay on June 5th prior to copa America. Great test, they’re playing so well right now

Great that they scheduled these. However, I'm not a fan of the "partidos de alto nivel" phrase. I hope that when they publicize games against other rivals they employ similar phrasing but with the adequate adjustment: "partidos de bajo nivel" o partidos de medio nivel."

all this effort and work to basically say nothing except refs will be independent and we will play Uruguay and Brazil, overall feels like the useless talent saying ‘big things coming’ for years on social media lmao

Hot take: none of them are even that good. You show a little technical ability in MLS and you automatically stand out.

I remember when Efraín Juárez was supposed to be the next big thing. These pudgy, short guys with technique aren’t even that rare in Mexico.
