Not a bad veteran option for the bench if the kids don't pan out.

Really not sure what the big deal is other than the press being the worst version of themselves trying to generate clicks. Anyone who has been in a leadership position knows it’s important to rely on your deputies as you can’t be in all places at once. So he he went to Argentina and caught a Newell’s game, the club that gave him his shot. Big f*cking deal. It’s not as if he’s missing out on finding a real game changer by missing Xolos v. Puebla.

Tata is going to ride and die with his core group of players. If Jimenez can regain a fraction of his pre-injury form, and Tecatito can finally show up for the national team, this squad should finish 2nd in their group in Qatar. Beyond that what do we really expect. The real issue is the absolute dumpster fire at the organizational level where fracasos have compounded on each either, but the only real goal is how to maximize profits for 2026. It’s the reality of the state of our beloved team.

What other coach has done this but LaVolpe, everyone hated LaVolpe but then call out the good he did. So can't have it both ways. Most here still think LaVolpe was shit, well all FMF coaches have been shit. It's not the coaches, its' the entire structure

He sucked, what he did with guadado was balanced out by leaving cuah out for zinha, leaving lozano who was on fire off for chiquis Garcia etc he was stubborn as hell too

¿Buenas vibras? Is that the Mexican equivalent of "thoughts and prayers"? How's that working out in the U.S. when tragedy happens?

    kind of seems like it

might be more logically similar to the lament that we have social problems cause we aren't Christian enough as a nation

    so similar/same?

Jorge Sanchez has basically guaranteed a starting spot at the World Cup, but who is going to be our left back? Gallardo isn't even an auto starter at his club anymore. I would honestly just play it safe and start Aguirre there.

What's everyone's take: Santiago Muñoz or Santiago Giménez?

I know Giménez has the Cruz Azul performances and has gotten more call-ups to the NT, but to the naked eye Muñoz shows much more skill dribbling wise

Muñoz has a great mentality - I think he’ll go on to have a better career.

Giménez has been given a great opportunity though, learning to play forward in a league so good at developing attacking talent and learning under Robin Van Persie. He’d be GDS drunk in London stupid if he doesn’t take advantage.
