Saprissa drew 1-1 with Perez Zeledon in the first leg of Costa Rica's biannual soccer championship. Saprissa's Jervis Drummond opened the scoring in the 40th minute with a scissors kick, but Bill Gonzalez equalized for Perez Zeledon in the 79th after knocking in a rebound on Wednesday.
