Liverpool midfielder Harry Kewell underwent a hernia operation on Tuesday - the second time he's been under the knife this offseason. Kewell last played in the Champions League final on May 26 in Istanbul, Turkey, limping off after 23 minutes with an adductor muscle tear. "The injury is unrelated to the adductor tear operation the player underwent following the Champions League final in May," Liverpool said in a statement.
