    Bundesliga club Kaiserslautern
have protested to the German football association (DFB) after
their exit from the German Cup on Tuesday, arguing the referee
disallowed a penalty that would have given them victory.
Kaiserslautern, bottom of the Bundesliga, went out in
sudden-death penalties to Mainz after the match had ended 1-1
and the initial penalty shoot-out round finished 3-3.
However, the club argue that the first-round penalty taken
by Ferydoon Zandi was a wrongly considered a miss by referee
    Michael Weiner.
