Yep, very recent. " At 6-foot-1, Bryang Kayo’s frame naturally sets him apart from his peers." https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2019...x-box-midfielder-already-drawing-rave-reviews
You'll discover many of the USSDA pics are pretty old (maybe the 1st pics they had made with no updates). Everyone looks about 12.
Updates on D.C. United homegrown targets: US youth intl Bryang Kayo plans to sign overseas when he turns 18 next summer (he has trained abroad this summer), while #dcu and Moses Nyeman (16 in Nov) have exchanged contract proposals #mls— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) August 27, 2019
Signed with Orange County: ✒️🚨 Orange County SC has officially signed U-17 US International @BryangKayo.https://t.co/DizyjieJXb— Orange County SC (@orangecountysc) September 19, 2019
dcu continues to perplex with their youth decisions eh. really wonder about protections in nyemans deal
I don't think DCU has any idea what they are doing in the transfer market whatsoever. Their ownership/management seems annoyingly hardline and emotional. Reportedly they walked from the Lucho Acosta deal after PSG changed the deal at the last minute ... which is completely shitty, but still was $8M for Lucho Acosta. They don't seem pragmatic at all, and also don't seem to realize that in a world market, as opposed to a US sport where you only deal with 30 people ... you don't have to draw so many lines in the sand.
On the travel roster for USA - Costa Rica on February 1. https://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2020/01/mnt-travel-roster
He’s almost certainly nowhere near ready for the NT but I’m glad he’s getting run in an organized setting pre-Wolfsburg. Seems like a smart thing to do.
played in a friendly with wolfsburg II over the weekend. https://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/...us-boys-im-test-zehn-tore-gegen-lupo-martini/
translation Both the game of regional league VfL Wolfsburg II and that of league Lupo / Martini Wolfsburg were canceled due to the rain showers, promptly both teams agreed on another friendly game. That ended up scoring - and VfL II had two US boys as test players. Plenty of goals in the test match: Regional league team VfL Wolfsburg II defeated top division Lupo / Martini 10-0 (5-0) last night. Also there as a test player on the Wolfsburg side: The US boys Kobe Hernandez-Foster and Bryang Kayo, who may be about to switch to VfL. Defender Hernandez-Foster (turned 18 in June) most recently played for the Los Angeles Galaxy Junior Academy, was named Player of the Year for the U.S. Talent Academy in 2019 and is considered one of the top players in the USL Championship. Midfield man Kayo (born July 18) is of Cameroonian descent, most recently worked for Orange County SC in California and has been without a club since December.
neat article on how he essentially cheated the system. caden clark is also a stud https://medium.com/@terryblaw/us-soccers-player-market-shedding-the-weights-ed09eec27410
This is such bootlicking nonsense. He was there for two years and was a big time talent when he showed up. Plus, they didn't add him out of the goodness of their hearts, they were trying to gain from him. They had the opportunity to profit plenty from it and passed. He didn't owe them a damn thing.
