Couple of crosses from his side of the field in quick succession that almost produce an equalizer - would have liked to see him challenge them better. One just wide, one well saved.
Pedro has Reynolds wide open on a counter on his right, Mayoral somewhat open on his left - and passes to the opposing CB.
For a team winning 1-0, they are getting their butts kicked. Manager has to already be thinking about the right changes. Not Reynolds' fault, but I wouldn't be surprised by an early hook here unless things change.
Have to admire Torino’s play, they are taking their chances. Reynolds with a good ball to break up the press to a 2v1 opportunity that is broken up. Roma not to good at building with short passing always trying to win with their feet.
Roma is very wasteful of their chances. Very lucky to enter halftime up 1-0. From what I saw, Reynolds not really involved much at all. Kind of just takes up an advanced position on the sideline but not really active in trying to get the ball.
not in attack, no. Only because Roma has been playing the counter team mostly and he isn’t getting there in time. He did have one overlapping opportunity but wasn’t picked out. Did provide a good ball to a potential 2v1 that was blundered by the Roma forwards. Another good ball that was a little high but a good idea. On defense, he’s allowed a little space on his guy which has turned into good balls in, but I imagine as he grows in confidence he will start to close that down and not worry about being beat down the field.
He's so fast, I wish he was chasing the counterattack faster. You never know when it will be useful to be up there too. I feel like he could have chased down a couple of counters for Torino as well.
Nice Reynolds throw-in starts at attack that leads to a goal called back for extremely obvious offside.
Ansaldi gets a cross off 1 v 1 vs Reynolds, perfectly placed for point blank header by Sanabria from inside the 6 yard box. 1-1.
Reynolds gives his man a bit too much space and he gets off a cross that is finished to make it 1-1. Reynolds could have pressured more to make the cross more difficult, but the defense on the back end was horrid.
Spoiled chance there on the break by Reynolds. Tried to pinpoint the ball through two defenders. gave too much space for the Torino goal player he was defending was able to get in a cross. He needs to close down better on those. Will learn. Slightly more confident performance than last week. the continuity of Roma’s attack seems off. Midfielders want to run at players wings want quick passes.
Reynolds draws a yellow on the counter. He reminds me a bit of Tyler Adams with his speed, physicality, and long stride. Obviously a ways to go to get to Adam’s lever, but he has good tools.
