Maybe the answer to the void that will be left when Jorge COsta retires. He made the Greek league team of the season.

Central Defender: Bruno Alvez (AEK Athens) -The on loan from Porto defender surprised everyone with his readiness and power. It is not a matter of luck that he will returns to Porto with a place in the Portoghese giants first eleven.

I found this at goal.com, but htey named him daniel

It may be a surprise to a lot of people but not to a dedicated and and unbiased Portuguese soccer follower

This kid was already being watched by Inter Milan when he was on loan to Vitoria Guimaraes by Fc porto ,2 seasons ago......

Sad to see him go. He said he didn't want to leave. Him and the boys worked very hard this year to bring us back from the dead.

I hope we can still work something out for Assuncao at least.

I like Bruno Alves hoppefully this season he will have opportunities to show his value in FC Porto, he and Ricardo Costa are our future central defenders.

I remember him from the Sub-21 team. He's very solid.
