I missed the story about Brugge's new head coach change. What happened?

Great! Madueke is down (hand/arm injury?) and Saka is warming up.

Edit: Looks like finger injury they can tape up. He'll probably continue?

I wouldn't mind, but Mikel likes to see players tough it out and play through adversity. Plus it's arguable that Noni needs to develop/prove his form more than Ethan does.

Nice instinctive volley by Hincapie there. Shoulda coulda been 1-0. Hit the post!

Keeper really should have done better. But great strike from Madueke.

That’s one of our best individual goals in ages.

Marti corner to Norgaard Hincapie with a near goal off his head from point blank

Indeed. Then he ran straight to the bench, which I always love to see. But strangely Mikel & Albert were deep in convo and gave Noni short shrift I thought. Hope he's not too offended! ;)

MLS looking a bit suspect in defense so far

Keeper was on that side of goal when the ball was struck and gets no where near it. I don't think he can make the save, but his dive is miles away from reaching the ball. Was he frozen?

Should have done better is all.

Some say, based on stats, that he's the best 1v1 defender in the league. *shrugs*

Raya with another smart save indeed. He's been a bit more busy than he or we would like TBF

And ANOTHER Raya save, this the toughest one yet. We're trying to make it to HT with our 1-0 lead!

Edit: For some reason Merino was back covering our defense. And him being the slowest guy on our team really almost led to disaster.

His opponent Forbs has been perhaps Brugge's most dangerous player so far

    HT BRU 0-1 ARS

Lively first half. After Noni's wonder strike, Brugge definitely didn't give up. Several times they were close to equalizing.

If you're critical you might even say we kinda limped into HT

    Madueke the GOAT

Some of the worst marking I’ve ever seen.

Chelsea fans said we got someone who is an ok dribbler but can't score goals.

Imagine how good he will be when he eventually finds the net :D
