I'm certainly pleased to see Arena hang around yet I'm surprised that he didn't garner more interest from European clubs. Can't wait to see the U.S. (Arena) v. Costa Rica (Sampson).
perhaps the reason he didn't garner more interest was that he was never really available. this announcement seemed like a foregone conclusion.
Yeah, exactly. It woulda been pretty big news had he not returned. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, and nearly making the World Cup semis ain't broke. Still, my heart was wrenched when I saw that Sampson committed to Costa Rica, thus destroying any chance that the USSF might bring him back....
But wait, we'll only see more of Goose, AMBOD and the other moronic anti-Bruce posts that will spring up for the next couple of weeks.
