I am not that impressed with Bundesliga this year when you get below the top teams.

The lw for Wolfsburg #15 is having a mare.

Brooks hits his patented long diagonal to right wing near corner and guy just whiffs on bringing it down and ball goes out of touch.

0-0 ht. Boring match. Little to no threat by either side.

A graphic shows average positions for the players on each team. Wolfsburg playing deeper than Bochum for whatever reason. Practically a bunker.

Good chance for Wolfsburg off a cross but wide. They seem a little more ambitious this half. Brooks gives his keeper a difficult ball but he gets it out.

1-0 Bochum. Header off an early cross. Defender heads it into Bochum player head and goes in for a goal. Sounds about right for this match.

1-0 FT for Bochum. Wolfsburg 2pts clear of relegation playoff spot. Pepi would not be out of place on this Wolfsburg squad, for sure. Brooks was okay other than putting his keeper in a bad spot on one play.

Yeah. Bundesliga is clearly down this year. Results in Europe show it, and general play has not been great.

What's up with the US eligible LCBs playing in the BL . . .

Ref mercifully blows whistle for HT. 0-0 although Wolfsburg should have 1 goal.
42 touches and 72% passing for Brooks in first half. What surprises me is how he has a tendency at times to play deeper than his CB and RCB when Hertha approaches box. That can lead to an unwelcome surprise as the offside line is deeper than the other defenders might believe.

Free kick, Brooks heads it down nicely across the defense toward Bornauw, who gets stuffed at the near post very well by keeper Schwolow.

Full time 0-0 in a just above relegation zone battle. Only watched part of it, but the defense looked very good including Brooks. They'll feel like they blew a chance for a 1-0 win.

Brooks starts vs RBL. Adams on the bench, resting up to play minor matches in the extreme cold. Scoreless early.

Novoa gets the better of Brooks on a ball in the air, beating JAB. Leaves him open for a long blasted shot, and Casteels makes the save.

Brooks with a sweet one-touch line-breaking pass straight up the left wing. Results in a free kick from the flank after a Henrichs handball.

Paredes on the bench, btw. Wolfsburg give up the PK equalizer in the 44th. Not watching but commentary does not indicate Brooks involvement in conceding.

He wasn’t involved. Bornauw on what appeared a close and fortunate play for Fürth. Now WOB has to figure out how to score another.

Brooks started this morning against Frankfurt, again on the left of a three man backline. Wolfsburg took the lead in the 28th minute on a penalty that was very close to the edge of the box and heavily debated and VAR-ed as a result.

Chandler on the Eintracht bench, Paredes on the Wolfsburg bench.

Brooks has to chase Lindstrom all the way from midfield to the endline - great hustle, but ultimately beaten by a very good cutback move. Lindstrom got off a pretty good shot, but saved by Casteels.

Brooks gets a yellow for a play against Maury near midfield - he was sort of first to the ball, but kind of whiffed, got bumped down, and may have deliberately raised his legs while falling to trip up Maury. Reasonable yellow given the possibility it was a tactical foul.

Brooks good shot block out for a corner, but all of these Brooks mentions are an indication of how much they're being dominated since their goal. As I type, another Brooks shot block out for a corner.
