I think its the new Hertha coach Jos Luhukay who was the former coach of FC Augsburg from 2009-2012, last month Hertha signed Marcel Ndjeng who played for Jos Luhukay at FC Augsburg and now he takes Morales spot what a coincidence!

    Luhukaysaid this before the match:

"We want to play offensively. I want to see goals! We want to excite the fans in the first home game. The three points have to stay in Berlin!"

Just talking about how it's his first game as a professional, how he is from Berlin with a German mother and American Father. That he was playing for the A-Youth team last season, not even for the U23/reserve team. ;)

He's a lot faster and mobile than I imagined he'd be.

Brooks with a free kick. Nothing comes of it, Looked like him but I looked away from the monitor too early.

His distribution from the back is very good too. 2 pretty accurate long balls already.

Yellow cleats help. Apparently he is left-footed.

Decent 60-70 yard ball that the forward should have done better with

No, it was one of his teammates who got elbowed in the jaw.

Brooks not involved. Berlin player takes an elbow to the jaw that draws blood from a Paderborn player. It was on a high ball that both went up for.

Brooks just prevented a Paderborn cross from reaching a forward. He's looked rather comfortable both on and off the ball so far.

And he just successfully sprung the offside trap to prevent a breakaway.

Score Paderborn. Brooks partially at fault on that one.

A very minimal part. Original breakaway was the fault of the DM, but on the cross he may have been able to get a foot on it to deflect it.

Mistake in the midfield and then the whole defense gets burned.

Great tackle to stop a 2 on 2 by Brooks
