John Anthony Brooks is in the starting lineup against SC Paderborn as the Bundesliga 2 season starts today, unfortunately Alfredo Morales didn't make the 18 man roster. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...ellung_hertha-bsc-29_sc-paderborn-07-109.html
The game just started http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/133512/1/watch-hertha-bsc-berlin-vs-sc-paderborn-07.html
No mention of an injury or any mention at all of Morales in the preview. http://www.herthabsc.de/de/teams/vorbericht-paderborn/page/954--45--.html
I think its the new Hertha coach Jos Luhukay who was the former coach of FC Augsburg from 2009-2012, last month Hertha signed Marcel Ndjeng who played for Jos Luhukay at FC Augsburg and now he takes Morales spot what a coincidence!
Luhukaysaid this before the match: "We want to play offensively. I want to see goals! We want to excite the fans in the first home game. The three points have to stay in Berlin!"
Just talking about how it's his first game as a professional, how he is from Berlin with a German mother and American Father. That he was playing for the A-Youth team last season, not even for the U23/reserve team.
Brooks with a free kick. Nothing comes of it, Looked like him but I looked away from the monitor too early.
Brooks not involved. Berlin player takes an elbow to the jaw that draws blood from a Paderborn player. It was on a high ball that both went up for.
Brooks just prevented a Paderborn cross from reaching a forward. He's looked rather comfortable both on and off the ball so far.
A very minimal part. Original breakaway was the fault of the DM, but on the cross he may have been able to get a foot on it to deflect it.
