Brooks yellow card-worthy challenge of a teammate. That was awkward.

2-1 now for Frankfurt - once again down Frankrurt's right wing, cutback cross to Jovic, who puts a great blast between Brooks and the keeper. Possible Brooks could have ended that attack early, but not exactly any mistakes either.

Wolfsburg equalize in the 46th via Weghorst, then concede a third in the 54th via Silva. Silva has been very impressive today holding off Brooks. And this is one of their weakest defensive performances of the season - haven't conceded three since November.

Let's not forget about the forgotten man - Brooks starts v Bayern Munich.

Been watching most of the game (missed the first Bayern goal).

3-2 Bayern now in the 79’.

Brooks not at fault for either of the two Bayern goals I saw. 2nd goal was a HORRIBLE blunder by the Wolfsburg keeper. He tried to corral a weak chipped cross with one hand and dropped it right into Bayern player’s path. 3rd goal came down the Bayern left wing with Brooks uninvolved. Brooks looking very solid.

Wolfsburg playing pretty well in the comeback (especially 2nd half on the counter) and deserve at least a draw here with 10’ to go.

Full time, 3-2. Wolfsburg couldn’t manage the equalizer.

Shutout ruined in the 91st minute on a perfect deflection of Pongracic into the lower corner on a long driven shot by Castro. Still - Wolfsburg up 3-1 and it's full time as I type.

Brooks playing today, of course. The VWs are up 1-0 now in the second half.

Ho hum. Another day in the office for Brooks. Starts. Bochum have a player sent off in the 4th minute yet Wolfsburg feel no need to score more than 1 goal. They have Brooks. They know 1 is enough. 1-0 in the 89th.

I should have mentioned that Brooks got the assist on the goal. He basically did everything for them today.

Brooks gets a second yellow against Lille, and is sent off. Still 0-0 in the 64th minute. No Weah as he's still injured. David had a goal called back because the ball was out of bounds earlier in the play.

Wolfsburg *almost* give away a penalty in the last seconds of stoppage time, but it is just outside the area after VAR review.

There's just something about Brooks and that color yellow.

Finished 0-0. Group of life continues, with each team on 1 point.

That Lille and Wolfsburg tie did not produce the highest quality of soccer you'll see.

He's on the bench, so it's not totally clear.

Bornauw not actually making a great case to play over Brooks - yellow card, been scrambling a few times. Good hair, though.
