OK, so my band, DiSH, is planning a little spring break tour in support of not only our new album which won't exist by then, but also in support of the whole theory of the statement "why the hell not?" In any case, in order to do this, we need places to play, cheap places to stay, etc. Listen to us here : www.dishrock.homestead.com/bookusplease.html If you like what you hear, or...even if you dont like what you hear, but you still want us to come to where you are (Provided you are somewhere in teh midwest), If you could post general info about places to play and stuff, that would be faaaaan-tastic. and, if all you want to do is say "your band sucks" , then you can do that too. Thank you so much. ps. I dont know if threads like this are legal or not. If they are, sweet. If not, just delete it.
http://www.byofl.org/ Personally, it's not how I book shows, but it looks like it might be a good fit for you all. One of the best ways to build good useful band relationships is to have them in to play with you in your city, first- You can draw a decent crowd in town, right? Because if you can't in KC (land of what used to be one of the more active midwest post-punk scenes when you had Boy's Life, and such), honestly, you might not be ready to tour.
