Not to be negative in any way; or not to bring down your longing for the return of the Force, but IS THIS NEWS?????????

When Cleveland was in the league, they did win some, but they lost alot. They lost games, fans, sponsors, and ultimely, they lost a franchise. Unfortunately the stigma the surrounds the City of Cleveland, is when any of their teams win, the fans are there. However, if any of their teams are going through a tough stretch, they'll have to do it alone, because the fans are missing in action. It has led to the dimise of indoor soccer, the NFL and almost MLB and the NBA. These are the facts of the situation.

The only way Cleveland should be allowed back into the league, is if the following is met.

    1) Gund Arena. I'm familiar with all of the reasons why some say this isn't likely, but find a way to make it likely.

    2) Guarantee of at least 2,000 tickets sold prior to each game. With an average walk up crowd, they could average around 2,500 - 3,000 PAID.

    3) 5 year PAID commited business plan. NO exceptions anywhere. This will Force the owner(s) to take this venture seriously.

Do this, and you should have a team. Default on any of these areas and not only will you not get a team, but future interest will not be considered.

Yeah it's kind of like when the Baltimore Spirit was drawing 1,500 a game and about to fold (even though Baltimore is such a great indoor soccer city).
