Batts is a legend it is a disgrace the way the club are trying to force him out.give him a chance he is the man to hold our midfield together.

I agree. Batty is the tits. Put him on the field. Is he really going to do any worse than anyone else?

I think many of T.V.'s personel choices have been questionable. I know that's easy to say when we get beat by Everton, but I've been leery from the very beginning.

He never should have let Robbie Keane go so easily. All that rubbish about having too many strikers...where are they now? One of Leeds' most pressing problems in the last 3 seasons has been injuries and suspensions...they should work on getting a surplus of decent players any way they can.

T.V. has also consistantly picked Bakke over Dacourt in midfield, even when Olly has been fit. Bakke may be more of a threat on goal because of his headers, but Olly seems a little less prone to mistakes.
And it seems to me midfield has been a weak spot in general. Maybe it's Kewell in that more attacking role that skews the team dynamic...unfortunately he's the only one scoring goals right now, so I doubt there'll be much of a change.

Also it irks me that year after year there seems to be more and more faith put into Ian Harte when he's just not all that good. He's got a wicked left foot for sure, but he only just cuts it as a defender, and he is prone to some seriously goofy mistakes.
Leeds need another free kicker to switch things up, Harte's just too predictable.

I think Bowyer is worth some effort in trying to keep. I realize he hasn't been playing all that well and he's probably a pain in the ass to get along with. But I think he's got enormous potential when he keeps his head on...anyways, we can't be losing any more decent players.

I completely agree. Batty should be finishing his career on a high.

There were moments during DOL's time at Leeds that I thought Leeds would once again be a force in the game. Alas, I was wrong. With El Tel in charge Leeds will never be anything but mediocre. Feared by no-one, challenging for nothing.
