We have about $150 in the bank - and no plans on how to spend it. So what should we do with it? A) Donate it - i.e. purchase Beat tickets and give them to some needy fans B) Give it back - split it between the existing members C) Spend it - plan a viewing party or road trip D) Donate it to the Legacy Foundation (the official cause of the WUSA), in return they make a new ad and stop playing that hideously awful one they have now. How about putting it towards a roadtrip to Carolina to support the Beat on July 4th! So far, me, Susan and Terry are going. Anyone else interested?? It was so much fun having a bunch of fans there cheering the Beat together for the semi-final last year. It would be great if we could recreate that feeling for the 4th!!!!!!!! I think I'll start a thread...
No. If this is done does this mean that this group disbands? Do this one. I second KGB's idea on the SAS roadtrip.
I say spend it on a roadtrip on the 4th. If nothing else, throw a hell of a tailgater and use the extra money to get to and fro the hotel.
Re: Re: Brigade $$ Well since we can't convince The Beat to let us use sec 116 as a Supporter Club section, (and we don't want to be moved out of the "stalker" section), I think the Brigade will just become a social group. Fourth of July roadtrip - sounds good to me, except thats its on the day of the Peachtree Road Race, I will have to see about working that morning. Melbrown and Phats - what do you say?
