Brian Mc Bride signs for Fulham

    Well Fulham have signed McBride as Saha's replacement, he has penned a two and a half year deal, subject to a work permit, according to McBrides club Columbus, meanwhile Saha has passed a medical and will complete his move to the theatre of dreams on Friday lunch time

    how much was the deal with mcbride for?? just curious

    IIRC about $2mill.

    He'll be making something like 1.6 mill. a year.

    Replacement?

    He will not be Saha's replacement...there are bigger plans in store for his replacement but that will probably have to wait until summer.

    To think that McBride was brought in to be his replacement is foolish considering he hasn't played in the EPL since Everton.

    I don't think McBride will be a replacement but I think he's good enough to fill in adequately until a suitable replacement is found.
    Don't underestimate those Yank players. Plenty of teams did and paid the price in the 2002 World Cup and the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
