If Juve is to turn their season around (meaning vie for the scudetto), they need a convincing win over Brescia. I'm predicting a 2-0 for Juve.
Juve 3 - Brescia 2 I did not see how Juve got its last two goals, but the first was a pk. 3' Muari 38' Caracciolo 53' Miccoli (pk) 55' Di Vaio 75' Nedved
Miccoli had to take the PK three times! First, Di Vaio was in the box, second time I guess they said he stop-started. He put it to the same side, more emphatically each time. That's keeping your cool. The 2nd goal was a Miccoli flick to a barely-offside Di Vaio. Should've been disallowed. Third goal was on a corner, the Brescia keeper made an ill-advised punch straight to an unmarked Nedved at the top of the box. Great (and important) comeback victory for Juve although the moviola guys will be all over the penalty call (Nedved was barged over by Di Biago, but went down pretty easily) and the offside goal, and a late chance for Brescia that was narrowly called offside. But I'll take it.
Nedved's goal was terrific. Juve was playing pretty lethargically until they got on board with the pk's. THis win will provide some good momentum for the upcoming Deportivo match.
Brescia deserved a point out of this game straight up. That penalty was utter bullsh^t. If Juve continue this style that they are currently using, Depor is gonna rock them.
As if my life and "emotions" revolve around Juve getting to the next round. I like 'em and I hope they win, but yes, I've watched them this season and know their defense is more than suspect. It certainly wouldn't surprise me if they lose, but then, I'm always a pessimist when it comes to sports. My response was in reference to the oh-so-predictable comments that Juventus was given this game by the refs. I remember a certain unfairly-annulled goal for Lazio in the San Siro earlier this season, but I don't remember hearing any Milan fans claiming they didn't deserve those 3 points.
