auclair made the same comp on arseblog a few games back. there's some physical resemblance and both are good with the ball. i can't even put to words how much i love that the gabriel-saliba pairing are not just physically immense but both smart players who can read plays. i've missed that combination of qualities.
Yup. And before he was our starting CB, Gabriel was the #1 CB on the team sheet. Now Saliba may own that distinction. It’s amazing how he’s upped our level so quickly. And showing up his veteran partner in some ways. All good!
I'll make a NLD thread eventually lads That said, if my AFL team gets up Saturday you probably won't get it until about 2 days out, I'll go MIA. If we lose, probably the same

i know playing for your national team is an honor and a big deal but, c'mon, dude literally just came back for an injury and managed to play one - non-90 minute - game. heading off to go get hurt on an unnecessary international duty is irritating.
So, it's been a while, but the guy sticks in your mind; He drove a red "mini" with some Arsenal personalized, license plate. The first time I met him, I had heard Coolers was an Arsenal bar, and that day they were playing somebody in the FA cup. An obscure, unimportant game. I walked in, one guy in an Arsenal jersey was sitting at the bar, and I said "Is this where they are showing the Burnley game" as a joke. He didn't see the humor, and I apologized quickly. He had an Arsenal setup, that he put on the bar. Just a classic guy, and I wish he was still here on Maui. Unfortunately, Covid changed Maui, and we said aloha to some of the best. Coolers is walking distance from my house. I heard they are going to open it up again as something. I dont think it will be the same.
Ugh. Was that tweet the god’s truth? Partey is injured again? Let me guess… a little tightness in his thigh? Sigh
I do, but I only use it for one purpose, to follow a friend I’ve known since 1962. Because I traveled regularly for my job in the late 1900s, we used to be able to get together several times a year, but I changed companies in 2001 and stayed a lot closer to home, so we’ve only been able to get together a couple of times a decade since then. Facebook is our primary means of staying in contact.
