Paramount+ is a moderately buggier app, but they're carrying multiple times more C'Ship games than ESPN+. So it's an ostensible improvement & worth looking for workarounds. As for not being able to rewind, that's not true for most comps I've watched on there. Maybe in this case they're just re-broadcasting the live feed from England. Or it'll be resolved in time. You can wait until a bit after the game when they post the replay. It's still not up on the main page, but it was in the EFL section as soon as I checked. https://www.paramountplus.com/shows/english-football-league/ The stream is smooth off the website & you can probably link a laptop to your tv thru an hdmi cable. Or just watch online. Their TV app being more functional would be preferable. If you are month-to-month or your deal is about to expire, you can try using a third party like Amazon Prime that offers it. But get the free trial first because it may not offer the exact same services or be buggy in its own right.
First game of the season means nothing in terms of predicting what is going to happen over the course of the season. It usually takes 3 or 4 games for teams to get into their stride.
The lack of PiP for phones is annoying about Paramount+. Annoying to have to relaunch the game when multitasking.
Also worth noting that he still comfortably outperformed his xG in this match (largely because of what a low probability chance the goal he actually scored was).
Yeah…., but Leeds supporters are a bunch of miserable f****. I swear fhey take pride in their misery. They would rather beat a guy down for missing the potential winner than give props to same guy that equalized deep into stoppage time just a minute earlier.
Aaronson struck the ball with his right foot, when he should have tapped it to his left and tucked it into the corner. This is the root cause of his miss. Sure, he could have hit it with his right and scored, but given the angle, his left foot was much higher percentage. Become a two-footed player and you will have more success. Aaronson should study Pepi's goals.
I actually thought the message board I read was surprisingly fairly balanced. Said his wasn’t the only bad miss and gave credit for the equalizer.
Fans are just fans. I honestly don't get why US fans here get exercised about fans in other countries and their comments. If you are foreigner and you don't kick butt in every single match, you get criticism, sometimes very unfair criticism. Hell, our Boston Globe is obsessed with why Jason Tatum didn't play much in Olympic basketball, and we just won the gold medal! Homers be homers.
People here are very sensitive about their precious little guys. Have been for decades. It’s very tiresome.
Which is the only good thing about their existence. Their misery I mean. The more miserable they are, the happier the rest of us can be, secure in the knowledge that, in a world of constant turmoil, some things will always remain true
Leeds actually need players at this stage. I saw a list of teams with most outgoing transfers and Leeds at second after Aston Villa Football Transfer News: Which teams have earned the most from sales this summer? | FootballTransfers.com Leeds United are second, having cashed in on Archie Gray (€41.25m), Crysencio Summerville (€29.3m), Luis Sinisterra (€23.4m), Glen Kamara (€10m), Marc Roca and Charlie Cresswell (€4.5m) and Diego Llorente (€3.25m) after failing to win promotion last season, combining for €116.2in funds raised. Chelsea come in third, having sold Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa (€44.5 million), Lewis Hall to Newcastle United (€33m), Omari Hutchinson to Ipswich Town (€23.5m) and Michael Golding to Leicester City (€5.9m), raising €106.9m. Bologna clock in at fourth thanks to the damaging sales of Riccardo Calafiori (€45m), Joshua Zirkzee (€42.5m), Marko Arnautovic (€8m), Luis Binks (€2m) and Ebenezer Annan (€350k) for a total of €97.85m. Juventus complete the top five. The free-spending Bianconeri have raised funds via the departures of Matias Soule, Dean Huijsen, Samuel Iling-Junior, Moise Kean, Koni de Winter, Enzo Barrenechea and Kaio Jorge for €91m. Nottingham Forest are sixth
Moving along here, leeds really need a lot of depth right now. -------yow--------sarge--------brenden-- -----LDLT--------sands------tessman --lund---ream-----------neal---cuevas/scally ---------------gk turner I guess Ream has gone to Charlotte. I can't think of another left footer. Middlesboro, who are playing Cup tie with Leeds today, snapped up Aidan Morris and they seem to like him. Leeds fans think they need a good 8 to progress the ball - LDLT could fit there. They actually need a defensive right back where Scally would fit in nicely but I don't think Gladbach would sell him.
i hope ldlt, scally yow sarge lund tessman and turner keep as far away from the champinship as possible i realize you are probably just being sarcastic (at least I hope) but moving from the bundesliga or serie a or la liga to the efl championship would be a disaster in most cases....couldnt hate a lot of these suggestions more for players like neal or sands.....fine.... the championship is not a destination league...lets stop pretending it is.
Could be a long discussion so I'll pass, Let's put it this way: I wouldnt expect Leeds to go out and buy the team I put out there. That was not the point. It's complicated - that's why I love the game.
Of course. Let the wide man run to the 6m box from where an assist is a higher percentage effort than any other place on the pitch. Suppose Aaronson stays with the ball carrier who then cuts a pass back to the wide man who goes "wow, nobody stopping me from heading right to the 6m box from which more assists are scored than any other area on the pitch." You know what BBC would say? Aaronson doesn't understand positioning - he should have covered the wide position as the central position was the dmid's responsibility. BBC report, lol.
Go to 7' and listen to end for a concise 4' understanding of the situation at Leeds. A 4231 requires two physical dmids, one of whom has to be a passer. Leeds don't have that at this level. The other issue about pressing is why Aaronson gets a lot of grief: It's a team effort and when teammates don't get into the press, the presser looks bad. Pressing was more of a minor issue in this game but the dmids were majorly bad. The niners already went thru this with Roca and McKennie; no need to repeat midfield mistake.
