Who are the breakout players at the nations cup...players that you see getting a lot of attention after this cup, maybe even moving to bigger clubs.

    Agogo
    Odemwingie
    Laryea Kingston
    Omotoyossi?

Manucho - I don't know if he counts as a 'breakout' player, since he pretty much was already getting attention, but he has been great for Angola this tourney.

Who else? I haven't seen all of the other teams play...so feel free to add some names

Because most of the african leagues are better than the MLS.
And next Level for these players is Europe.
    to the topic:
I think Alloudi showed in the first game what he can do, but sadly he was injured after this game.
And what about Zidan and Chikhaoui?
I've heard that Bayern Munich wants Chikhaoui.

Marocfan, Junior Agogo played for 2 years in MLS...his post was meant to be sarcastic.

    Well now you do.;)

I've been singing Odemwingie's praises since the opening of this tourney for Nigeria. He's one of the few positives that came out for us.

Manucho, Manucho, Manucho! If he can't get a work visa now, I don't know what the kid has to do.

Junior Agogo. I've been playing FIFA 08 on XBOX and I've been playing with Nottingham and he was only rated a 62. Probably stigma from having played MLS. This kid's good, and he's built like a tank. Who says that football players aren't tough?

Jacob Mulenga of Zambia turned my head against Sudan. Especially with that header goal where he jumped clear over the defender to get it in. I mean that figuratively. He's really tall too.

Larea Kingston was making way too many mistakes imo. Just head mistakes, like he's not all there all the time. But he's still good.

There's a small, and I mean small, chance that Brian Brendell from Namibia might have earned himself a second or third division look from a Euroclub. There's something there.
